We pulled up to my parents house I hoped out the car and banged on the door. My mother answered it and I started to punch her in her face. "How dare you let him hurt her your such a bitch" Kyle pulled me away from her by my waist my eyes we're blury from my tears. Kyle held me back while I kept screaming.

"What the hell is going on out here?" My father asked coming on the porch he saw my moms busted lip and swollen eye. "I asked a question"

"How could you hurt her what the hell is wrong with you?" I screamed.

"I didn't hurt no one"my dad said coming off the porch. Kyle took a step forward.

"Then why did I get a call saying she's in the hospital?" I walked around Kyle and to my fathers face "if I find out you hurt her I swear I will pull out your cold blooded heart with my bare hands and feel it pump for the last time and watch your body fall to the ground."

"Damn" I heard Kyle whisper.

"Your the same old girl you we're seven years ago, a cold hearted son of a bitch" Kyle pushed my father to the ground and started punching him. My mother tried to fight Kyle off but he was to strong. After a few minutes my father was on the floor bleeding and my mother was beside him trying to wake him up.

"Lets get you to the hospital to see your sister" Kyle pulled me to the car and drove to the hospital we didn't speak of what happened a few .minutes ago.We went to the front desk and asked a man where was room 102 she told us we had to go to the fourth floor. We got on that floor and found a man walking out her room it must of been the doctor I wasn't sure so I didn't say anything.

"I can't go in there" I stopped right outside hanna's hospital room

"I'll be right here we didn't come this far for you to back down now" I opened the door and instantly fell to the ground. Kyle stood in the doorway shocked.

"Oh God no please don't do this to me"

"Come on Victoria you have to be strong" he didn't sound to convinced himself. We walked over to the bed and I couldn't believe what I saw my poor sister was in the hospital her whole face was swolen. She looked like if she coughed she would break in half. I couldn't do it. "Baby girl she's gonna be ok you just have to believe don't look at the bad side"

"Can we go? I think I might go kill them bastards if I stay here much longer" I said balling my fists.

"Yeah let's go"

"Sorry Sammy I had a family emergency" I said walking to my bosses office.

"I know Kyle called and told me just get to work" he said not looking at me. "Oh and mrs.higgins called she said she needs a lawyer who will not rest till she wins so are you up for it?"

"Yes sir I think I'm ready"

"You think?"

"I know" I walked away and went to my office across the hall.

"Um............" I looked up from my desk to see Kyle in a suit looking at the floor.

"Hey Kyle can I help you?" I stood up and sat at the edge of my desk

"Hey um what are you doing later on?" He was rubbing the back of his neck obviously nervous.

"I........." The phone started ringing I walked around the desk to pick it up "Hello thank you for calling..............." I slammed the phone down

"What's wrong?"

"That was Noah he's in town.........." I tried to catch my breath "he said I look hot in my pencil skirt that I should wear it more often...... He's back Kyle I thought he was gone forever"

"Wait how does he know what your wearing today?" Kyle asked worried "Did you see him at all today while we we're out?" I shook my head and started to cry.

"Wait the man that walked out of hanna's room when we got to the hospital I couldn't see his face but it looked............ He was with my sister" Kyle got a look in his eyes one that I didn't like at all. The phone ringed again and it made me jump. "Hello, yes this is she...............oh my gosh ok I'm on my way don't do anything till I get there. I walked across the hall to Sam's office "I have to go Sam another emergency"

"Fine go ahead but I want u here tomorrow morning bright and early and no leaving" I rolled my eyes and walked away its a family emergency how could he not expect me to leave. I went back to my office grabbed my purse and jacket.

"We need to get to the hospital now" I walked to the elevator with Kyle right at my heels. "Excuse me I'm here for Hannah"

"Yes you must be Victoria I'm nurse Jackson"

"Why am I here?"

"Hannah suffered Alot of punches to the head witch isn't good we have to do surgery to her head or she's not gonna make it"

"Then do the operation"

"We can't without a parents consent she's only fifteen we don't have a number and we thought you could give it to us"

"We couldn't do this over the phone?"

"No.............." An alarm started to go off the nurse ran behind the counter and pressed a red button the doors locked and bars came down over them it did the same for the windows. It was a lock down no one was allowed in or out.

"Why is there a lock down happening?" I screamed over the noise

"A patient has either been removed from the building or killed we have to keep everyone inside for now." The nurse screamed back. Kyle grabbed me by the waist to sit down on his lap. Why was he so calm?.The cops came and walked around the building they got back to the nurse and whispered something to her. "Victoria may I speak to you?" I got up slowly.

"Yeah sure" I said nervously.

"Hannah is dead...................someone killed her the person must have gotten out before we could find her dead."

"No she can't be dead who was the last visitor?"

"A guy named............" She checked the guest list "John"

"Oh God he couldn't have" I fell to the floor. John was hanna's boyfriend he would never kill her he got her through bad times. Kyle picked me up bridal style and walked me to the car. "Why are you so calm about all of this?" I asked while he pulled out of the parking lot.

"Am I suppose to be shocked she was gonna die either way with the head injures" I was shocked how could he say that.

"How could you say that to me?

"easily I just did"

"Stop the car" Kyle started driving faster "I said stop the car now" my voice was rising. I was getting irritated. Kyle pulled over.

"Why so you can leave me?" He said gripping the steering wheel.

"What did I say to my dad if he hurt her?"

"You said and I quote 'If I find out you hurt her I swear I will pull out your cold blooded heart with my bare hands and feel it pump for the last time and watch your body fall to the ground.' unquote"

"Exactly so do you know who killed my sister?"

"No"

"Kyle please I was suppose to protect her and I failed"

"I don't ok now can we please get home?"

"Fine" Kyle drove home we didn't say anything to each other. When I got in the house I went straight to hanna's room tomorrow I will go to my parents house and tell them that Hanna's dead.

"Victoria I'm sorry I didn't mean what I said in the car"

"Kyle I know you didn't mean it but it really hurt that's my sister"

"I know and I'm sorry"

"Its ok" I got up and hugged him.

"so you forgive me?"

"Hahahaha no" I hit Kyle upside the head with a poll and dragged him to the bed and tied him up.
