Inspired by Ignacio Straffi's "Winx Club," the story of the Explorix Club follows Neve Frost, a twelve-year-old Queen from the planet Glacia.

Aaliyah Nazari comes from a planet called Pyrodon. The terrain is rocky, and there are hardly any flat lands. The planet is split into two separate kingdoms, the Northern State and the Southern State. Aaliyah and her family govern the northern kingdom, where there are more volcanoes. The people of Pyrodon make their homes within the sides of these volcanoes, and with the use of magical items, they can prevent magma flow from disrupting their living spaces. Aaliyah's paternal aunt, Ysabelle, is the Queen of the southern kingdom and the mother of Princess Catalina. Aaliyah & Catalina have yet to meet.
Aaliyah is the fairy of Volcanoes and specializes in fire-based magic. In 2013, she was 16 years old and the third youngest of the Explorix Club, though she acts older than she is. Aaliyah is currently dating Prince Virris of Tariko.
Aaliyah's younger siblings are twins, Princess Zara & Prince Tzekl, who are 9.

Shannon is a young fairy from Solaria who has power over the skies (cloud manipulation, etc). She is a non-Royal and doesn't hold any title, but she is currently dating Princess Nakia. Shannon was 15 in 2013 and the second youngest of the Explorix Club.
Her younger brothers Mason & Daniel are eleven & eight years old.

Mirabelle is a young fairy from the planet Olympus. Olympus is a planet split into twelve kingdoms: Olympos, Thrace, Arcadia, Delphi, Vesta, Latona, Vulcan, Liber, Deai, Lovwartos, and the Underworld, which is segmented into three separate kingdoms in and of themselves. Mirabelle hails from the kingdom of Arcadia, commonly known as the Home of the Nymphs and nature spirits. It is a land lush with nature, and the spirits who dwell there take care of the land as much as they rely on it. Mira's home is ruled benevolently by Hermes, the Messenger of Zeus.
In 2013, she was 16 and the fourth youngest in Explorix. On top of that, she is the youngest in her entire family. Gnek, Mirabelle's father, is four hundred years old; Nixilei (Nyx-e-ley), Mirabelle's mother, is four hundred and twenty years old; Torik (tore-ek), Mirabelle's older brother, is eighty years old, and Nixlee (Nyx-Lee), Mirabelle's older sister is sixty.

Acacia is a young fairy who was born and raised on the planet Neketah within the enchanted forest. She is the only known daughter of Ivor, the supposed "white deer" of the forest. There is quite a lot that Ivor has never told his daughter and so much of his past is shrouded in mystery much like their strange connection with Heradomia. Acacia has lived all her life within the Enchanted Forest of Neketah and it is unclear if she is a deer herself who has been turned human or if she is human altogether.
Acacia does not know anything about her mother and has almost no human friends. She met her first and best friend Aaliyah during her first year of schooling at Neketah Academy.
Acacia is the second oldest of the Explorix Club and is 17 in 2013. Acacia is currently dating Princess Peony of Neketah.

Neve Frost is the daughter of Queen Illis & Queen Eira of Glacia. Because her parents were both female, Neve is the first princess born to her family using a DNA donor. To give her the right to the throne, Queen Eira's brother became that donor, and Queen Illis (ill-es) carried Neve to term. Eirwen donated his DNA for Neve's creation but never played the role of father, and although he kept an eye on her, he knew his responsibility wasn't to raise her. When Neve was still relatively young, both her mothers and her unborn brother passed away, and so Eirwen became the Regent of Glacia until Neve had her official coronation. Through her biological donor, Eirwen, Neve has an older half-brother named Ariston.
Neve is the youngest of all of the members of Explorix. She turned twelve at the end of 2013. Her application to Neketah's academy was accepted under special circumstances, making her the youngest student the school ever had. After her twelfth birthday in December 2013, Neve was crowned Queen of Glacia making her the youngest queen in the Magix dimension.
