A peaceful day in heaven. One of which that wasn't so peaceful for the Angel Seraphim, a deeply favored creation of God. They were flying through palace after palace, the pearly gates closing in on them and who they were chasing.
A thief had stolen a prized possession of God's, that of which Seraphim wasn't informed on. Their only job was to catch the thief and return the satchel without seeing what it was.
The thief managed to slip out of Seraphim's grasp, dashing through the pearly gates and proofing into black and red smoke.
Seraphim wouldn't give up, however. If the artifact was as powerful as it seemed, the entirety of Heaven counted on them. So they flew through the smoke, arriving in Hell.
The burning desolate waste land known as the Lake of Fire.
Right as Seraphim was about to reach the demon, a portal opened in front of them, Seraphim flying through and it closing right behind.
"I'm falling...I failed..." They thought.
"No point to stop trying."
A/N: yea. It sucks, I know. Fallen Angel, unoriginal. Failing to retrieve something and being kicked out of heaven, cliché, we all seen it before. I'm unoriginal 😑. Oh well. Cry about it.
