BFF with Gray Fullbuster

Bonding

The group decided to take a break on top of a grassy hill. It was only an hour before you have to head to the place Lee said to go. What do you do for an hour? Plan for battle. 

"Ok guys," you stood up, "We have to plan on something." Chirp chirp. Nothing. Your eyes twitch for mere moments. 

"Come on," you tried all you could to motivate them but it was no use. Nothing could budge them from their lazy selves. 

"Don't worry," you turn to see that Gray was sitting over next to a tree, "Everyone has their own way of doing things." He sounded so calm and peaceful. How can he be so calm? 

You go sit by him and watch as the wind blew and the trees rustled. It was so relaxing that you feel yourself falling into a couch potato. The birds chirping was so beautifully. You slowly lay down on the grass. As you look up at the clouds, you start to think about what would happen. 

"I'm not very strong," you started as you pulled the grass one at a time, "So how can I be sure that I can win?" You turn your head towards Gray. In the background, Nathan was playing around with Natsu and Happy; Emily was sitting on the ground with Lucy talking about something; and Arin was eating cake with Erza on a picnic table. You didn't want to disappoint them. They were your friends, new and old.

"Hmm," he looked out into the distance of this new world he had never seen, "You just have to be confident." You looked at him with confusion on your face. 

"How can I be confident?" You looked at Gray but his faced showed that he didn't think he'd get that far. 

"Umm," Gray tried so hard to think of something to say, "How can I say it?" He racked up his brain and thought of something as if a light bulb just popped up, "You need to be brave and unafraid to speak up. To be strong is different. You need to know what you're fighting for." You sit up and look out where you think Gray is looking at. The sun was setting. 

"It's almost time to leave," you looked at the clock that was next to the picnic table, "We should get going." Gray looks at you with a confident smile. He gets up and tells everyone you were going to depart. How can he be so calm and collected? Can I be like him? Questions go through your mind, but you know that there was no stopping you guys now. 

"Ok let's go!" And you all started to walk towards the battle grounds. Lee must be waiting to see you all.
