Story 12

0 - see you never

"Dear diary, this is the last day of school before I transfer to another high school on another city, in a completely different environment. We have to move to another city for better work opportunities for my mother. All of my friends are here in this school. The fact that I will be all alone, sitting by myself for the rest of my school year makes me want to vomit and I hate it. Oh well, I guess there is nothing I can do about it at this point. I can only think positively and hope I could encounter someone familiar in that new school."

Kelp proceeds to put on his uniform on and go to his now old school for one last time before they move.

-AT SCHOOL-

As he enters the building he goes up to all of his friends and starts saying his final goodbyes. He goes up to his bestest friend ever, Ontario.

Kel: "Hey, how's it going?"
....
Kel: "are you okay?"
Ont: "Does it look like I am"
Kel: "i guess not"
Ont: "Exactly, I haven't been this sad before."
Kel: "I know, I'm also as devastated as you are, if only it was up to me to move."
Ont: "I know that you can't control it. It's just that... it won't be the same at all when you go away. We have been best friends and classmates ever since 1st grade. It's not easy to let go of 12 years of friendship you know. I will be sitting alone all day, everyday."
Kel: "Hey, at least you have friends around here. Everyone will be so new to me in my new school."
Ont: "You're right.. I'm sorry if I seemed mad at you I was ju--"
Kel: "No I completely understand why you're upset. In fact, in stead of just crying about me leaving all day, what if make our last day together, our best day at the same time. We shouldn't be crying in our last moments, we should be making the best of it!"
Ont: "Kelp, you are a GENIUS!"

Kelp and Ontario has an absolute blast this whole day. They skipped classes and hung out together, pranked people, annoyed teachers for fun, entering random classrooms and doing random shit. This ended up being their best day at this school ever.

When it was finally time to go home. Kelp and Ontario hugged eachother very tightly but then Ontario began to sob uncontrollably on his shoulders

Kel: "Hey, don't be so sad. This is not our last time ever seeing eachother anyways, we can always visit eachother!"
Ont: "..promise to call and text me everyday?" She smiled, Kelp let out a giggle
Kel: "Promise!"

They walked away in opposite directions to go home. Kelp looked behind him as they were walking away from eachother and couldn't help but start sobbing on the way home. He felt a sense of emptiness through the entire walk home.

His mom greeted him as he came back home asking him to pack his bags. He started packing his bags and went to sleep immediately even if it was 3PM.
