They killed my family
And slaughtered my sister.
So now I walk,
Purging the evil from the land
For I have within me
The power to resist them -
To resist the Demons.
I hunt them, night and day.
But as they crawl up to me,
In their last miserable dying moment
I find something, warm and strange
Creeping and steering up deep within my heart.
Something I long forgotten,
Something I locked up
Since I started the hunt
I find a smile,
Sincere and heartfelt
Placing itself on my face -
Without my consent.
I find myself purely adoring
Every single second of this moment
As I place my final arrow through its head.
I walk forward,
Never looking back -
Back to those days
When I was noting more than
A weak, fragile, frightened and lonely little girl.
Now, I have brothers and sisters
Who were also forged into a weapon.
Who share the same fate,
The same dream
The same destiny
The same hatred as me.
Once I was hunted
Now, I am the hunter.
