The storm continued to rage on; wind howling like wolves at a full moon, rain pelted down on the warehouse and crept into the inside, lightning light up the room eerily, and the thunder boomed as if they were drums. It was clear that this storm would not die down soon, and of course, did not help her mood. In fact, the storm only made her mood even worse than it already was.

Skylar growled softly as she pulled her chocolate brown soaking hair over her shoulder to begin wringing it out. Her grey eyes flickered around the warehouse, taking in her surroundings. There was a few broken crates scattered around the room and there was also quite a few cobwebs. Despite that, the entire place was only a barren room.

Oh how she hated her life at this moment. How could this have happened to her? She was a perfectly happy girl who lived with her sister. Today had been an ordinary day. How did she manage to end up battered like this? She had no idea. The world was a crazy place in reality.

Sighing, she stood up from her spot on the soaked dirt floor. A few bugs crawled up her but she just flicked then off. Never had she been afraid of bugs. They were nothing to her. Besides, she always heard people tell others that, "the bugs are more scared of you, than you are of them," which she believed to be very true.

Her idea was to check out the warehouse as it poured. If she was going to be staying here, it was best to find out about it. Mainly, she was searching for holes and such. She began to scan the wall as she walked around. After she had walked halfway, she had discovered a rat nest, a couple of spider webs along with cobwebs, a few hooks on the wall, and an old pickaxe. Of course, the pickaxe seemed useful, but she wasn't sure if she should take it.

After a little while more, she had checked the rest of the room and only found similar things. There didn't seem to be many things here since it seemed that it had been left quite a long time ago. Whoever was here first, though, she guessed stored tools in here.

It made sense with the loose pickaxe and hooks on the wall. The hooks could've been used for hanging up the tools. Possibly, there could've been animals in here once as well. Maybe horses. Skylar tried to come up with as many ideas as she could about this place. She may be there a while. But who knows?
