Chapter One 📚

Atsushi was your average college student. Burnt out, Tired, and Broke but he couldn't help but love it.

Growing up in the Orphanage he had little to no freedom whether it was small things like what food he could eat or bigger things like opinions and religious beliefs.

Although life wasn't great at least he was semi-in control.

Anyway, it was an average Friday for him, go to class, Get coffee, and then buy books. Atsushi loved books they helped him better understand what he wasn't taught like Sex ed and Sexual identities.

He found it interesting how different people are in
the brain, up until now he thought everybody was the same mentally besides him. He thought he was an odd one out, That he was the only one who felt weird things and thought weird thoughts.

But now he has a better understanding of why thats false.

Atsushi pov:

I hope they have the third installment of this book, I've been looking for weeks, and it's always out of stock

I look around the other books of the series..... "1....2.... and 4?" of course the one they are missing is the one I'm looking for.

just my luck. they might have it in the back I'll check with the worker.

as I walk over to the worker my attention is quickly grabbed by a tall man with a bold fashion taste.

I swear I stood there planning out my future with him for a good five minutes before he noticed and glared at me quickly before looking away and walking out of the bookstore

I sighed as I walked over to the cash register and set down a stack of the books

"Gay ass" the worker with brown hair says while smirking.

"I'm not gay dazai, I said I was questioning!" I reply

"Same thing kid," Dazai says under his breath

most of the time I just ignore Dazai when he calls me gay but now... i don't know....
it's whatever. who cares if I'm gay?

it's almost 4:45 pm I need to hurry and get home. I took a quick stop by the grocery store to pick up eggs that were on sale.

"I'm home!" I shout while walking through the entrance of my shared house.

"Finally! Atsushi do you have any idea how late it is?" The ruby-red-haired girl said while looking at me. I could just tell she was angry.

"Lucy calm down, it's only 5:30!" I say in a pleading way, I know what happens when Lucy gets angry...

"Luce leave him alone! he probably has a reason." One of my other roommates says. He's my favorite and my best friend, he's always there for me. Tanizaki was his name.

I love all of my roommates, they were the first people that helped me adapt to the real world. If it wasn't for Tanizaki's sister finding me that day I would've probably died awhile ago.

We were all sitting at the table eating our foods when i remember the guy at the book store "I saw a guy at the bookstore who was hot today" i say while looking at my food.

silence fills the room

"YOUR GAY?" Sigma shouted, i look up shocked and nod my head no.
"i'm not gay, i don't think i am atleast" i say to them
"so tell us more mr bookstore~" lucy says smirking
where do i begin?
"well he had a very interesting clothing style and he was wearing make up!" i start going on and on about this boy..

"goodnight 'sushi" tanizaki says before closing my bedroom door

i lay in my bed and stare at my phone for a few minutes before shutting it off and putting it beside me...
sighs
i'm not going to get good sleep tonight thank god it's a friday...

i stayed up for two more hours thinking about that boy..

MY FINGERS HURTTT!!! since this is the first chapter it's going to be a little shorter than i plan for the rest to be!! i have the story written down so this only took me about 2 hours? i'm going to try to make the next chapter more than 2000 words but this one was written on my phone while i'm going to do the rest on my computer!! i really hope you'll enjoy this chapter was a bit boring but it gets interesting next chapter! hopefully... bye byeee!!
