Stefan put out a hand, smiling. I hesitantly reached towards it, shaking it for a proper greeting.
"So, Y/n, what's your next class?" He asks softly. I sigh, running a finger through my hair again."Maths.." I mumbled. I hated maths, so so much. Stefan nodded.
"Really? I do to. Do you want to walk there? I don't really know where's it's at." He smiled slightly.
"Yeah, sure. I can walk you there." I mumbled softly. Stefan smiled again, following behind me as we both walked to maths. I walked inside, and I could see my friends, motioning me to come sit by them. I smile, waving. I sit next to Leah, across from the others, Zoe and Carley. They smile at me, and Carley nods over to Stefan sitting on the other side of the room.
"Ohh, who's that? He seems hot." Leah asked, rasing her brows. I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
"That's Stefan. Stefan Salvatore. He's new here. I met him in the hall earlier." I mumbled. Zoe giggles, rasing her eyebrow with a smug expression on her face.
"Let me guess. He walked you to class?" Zoe said, smiling. I groan.
"Yes, he did. Alright? Just one conversation. That's all. Besides, he's not my type." I say, looking over at him.
Stefan, on the other hand, had a smug look on his face, staring elsewhere. It was like he could hear what we were saying. I turned my head back over to my friends.
"Ohh, someone can't keep their eyes off..." Carley nods over at Stefan, and I groan again.
"Carley, guys.. I'm not into him. Stop making it seem like that." I say, fidgeting with my hands. I nuge Carley in the elbow teasingly. She winced. "Yeowch! Alright, alright... Bitch." Carley laughs. Everyone turns their heads to the teacher.
Huh... She seems new...
The teacher smiles, looking at all of us students.
"Welcome, class, to your first day of school! Today, we will be introducing the basics of algebra for high school. Understood? Everyone, get out your class books to page four."
Everyone around the class groans, taking out the class books. I couldn't help but keep exchanging a few glances at Stefan, until I caught myself. God.. what am I doing? He's not my type. Ew. I turn my head back on to the book, writing down my notes.

The whole day ended finally, all the classes were boring as hell. I wave to my friends, walking over to my car to drive home. I see someone leaning against my car door, smiling. Stefan. He waves at me.
"Hello, Y/n." He nods at me. "I was just wondering... If you could help me study for the test next week for math. If that's alright. Maybe tonight?" He asks.
Alright, is this guy a creep?
But, being me, I nodded, trying to sound like I was fine with it. (Which I wasn't.)
"Yeah, of course.. my house or yours?" I ask, pulling my hair behind my face.
"We can go to mine. Its huge. You'll love it. I'll pick you up at six."
All I could do was nod slightly. He leaned off the car door, letting me get in. "See you then." I say, smiling. He just nodded, as I started the car and drove away.
••••I awoke from a long nap, checking my watch quickly. It's six. I quickly grabbed everything I needed to study with, pulling my messy hair up. I rushed down the stairs, looking out the door window.
He's here.
I quickly rush out the door, walking down the steps on my creaky porch. Before my eyes, I see a nice red car parked in front of me, which seemed like an old fashioned one. As I rush to open the car door, im greeted with a smiling face.
"Right on time." Stefan smiled at me as I shut the car door. I put the seatbelt on as Stefan starts the car.
"So.. about this math test, are you good at it? I mean, math?" He asks, looking out the back window while backing up. I scoff.
"Nope. I suck at math. Sorry I didn't tell you earlier." I chuckled. Stefan gave me a teasing, "seriously?" Look on his face. "Well, that's big help." He teased. I nuge his shoulder. "Hey! You're the one that asked me." Stefan chuckles, driving to his house.
••••
I take off my coat in the warm house, putting it on the hanger. Looking around at the house mansion, I see old pictures, paintings, and even decorations. My jaw couldn't help but drop a bit.
"Wow..." I mumbled as Stefan was shutting the door, taking his sweatshirt off. Stefan couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle.
"It's just me and my brother here." He responded. I turn to look at him. "Wait, really? Wow. Just you two, huh. So, I'm guessing he's like.. Your older brother that watches after you?" I ask. Stefan nods.
"Eh, kinda. Me and him aren't... That close." I kept looking around the house, my jaw open a bit wider. "Very old fashioned. I like it." I say, walking around the creaky floors.
"So, he looks after you? He's like.. The good brother?" I couldn't help but ask.
Stefan burst into laughter. "What? No! It's more like... The other way around."
Suddenly, footsteps come near. And it definitely wasn't Stefans footsteps. I turn around from Stefan as I see a tall, black haired, blue eyed man, gluing his eyes on mine. He sipped his bourbon, smirking at me. He put down the bourbon, walking closer to me but at a far distance.
"Who's this?" The man asks.
His voice sounded so.... Deep... But also not at the same time. He looks..
Before I could even finish my thoughts, Stefan introduced me.
"This is y/n... Shes here with me from school to study. Y/n, this is my brother." Stefan explained. Meanwhile, my eyes were still glued on the man. He put out a hand, smirking.
"Why, hello, Y/n. I'm guessing my brother here hasn't told you my name. I'm Damon. Damon Salvatore."
