Damon told me evreything.

He turned into a vampire in 1864 by Katerina Peirce. Apparently, Damon loved her. He loved her so much, that he decided to turn into a vampire with her. But the only problem?

She wanted both Stefan and Damon to be turned with her.

He told me how he'd been searching for her for years. Finally, when he thought he found her, he didint.

The fact was, that she never wanted Damon. She always loved Stefan more.

And that broke his heart.

He also told me about his life as a vampire. From when he was an Augustine vampire to now.

I sat still on the couch, both of my legs crossed over one another as my hands folded over my lap. Damon sat on the floor right next to the couch, but I still kept my distance.

As he finished, he looked up at me with those blue eyes of his.

But me? I couldn't speak. Honestly, I didint know if I was scared, shocked, or terrified. I think all. But what did I do about it?

Nothing. I just sat there, staring at Damon.

"So this is true? You're really a vampire?"

We're the first words I have spoke in a while.

Licking his lips, he looked down, then back up. "Yes. Me and Stefan are vampires. Ever since 1864."

Silence passed between us. Damon, looked back down at my legs. "Do they feel better?" He spoke rather softly, not knowing what else to say.

I looked down also. "No. How did you--"

"Vampire healing." He interrupted me. He sighed.

"Oh." I swallowed, not knowing what else there was to say. What could I say, anyways? I just figured out that Damon Salvatore is a living, breathing vampire.

"Y/n, look," Damon interrupted my thoughts. But before he could even let a few more words out, the door opened.

"Y/n?" Stefan quickly came into the living room, standing besides Damon. "Are you alright?" He furrowed his brows.

"Stefan is also a vampire." Damons thoughts ran through my head as soon as I saw Stefan.

Stefan also kneeled down besides Damon, putting his hand on mine. I flinched at the sudden gesture, pulling my hands away. How could I trust either one of them?

My eyes drift off towards Damon, his eyes slightly narrow for whatever reason as he stares down at Stefan's hand on mine for a moment. It's like I could hear him snarl under his breath. Only a second until he speaks, "She's fine. Just scared." His voice was a little rougher than usual.

Stefan moves his hand back as mine moves away.

"Stef, I got this. Go make her some food or something." Damon seems irritated as he gives Stefan a sarcastic smile. In response, Stefan shakes his head.

"Alright, alright." Getting up, he walks away and to the kitchen. Damon stares at Stefan before looking back at me.

"So, do you believe me, freckles?" He gives me a smirk, as if trying to lighten the mood and make me feel better.

I sat up from the couch, adjusting my position.

"Believe you? This is all a lot to process." I rubbed my hand over my face.

"So, basically, all those things in fairytales, movies, shows about vampires are... Real?" I can't help but ask, bringing my legs closer to my body.

At that question, Damon laughs a bit. "Yes. Us vampires are real. But unlike in movies and TV shows, we can handle garlic. Holy water? Just fine. But we do have super speed, if you call it that." He smirks slightly at his words.

"Super speed?" I shook my head. "Yeah? Well, prove it." Titling his head, Damon gives me a smirky-smile like. "Hmm.." He mutters, before suddenly..

Poof. He's gone in a whoosh.

I whip my head around to look for him.

"Boo." He whispers right behind my ear.

"Holy fuckshit!" I blurt out, my eyes almost going to fall out of their sockets. He chuckles, the sound sweet as honey. And it sounded even better right behind my ear.

"Scared, sweetie?" He mutters.

Hold up. Rewind.

Did I just... Shiver? Fuckkk.. And I just founded out he's a literal vampire for fucks sake.

But in another whoosh, Damon went right in front of me.

"Hmm. I'm suprised." He taps his finger against his chin. "Usually people would piss themselves when they find out I'm a vampire. You.." His eyes travel up and down me.

Gulp.

"On the other hand, we're scared at first, then you're suddenly... Fine with it?"

Honestly, I didint know if I was fine with it. I didint even know if I was okay with the fact.

"I kind of did.. Piss myself, yes." I mutter. Damon barks out a laugh.

"I knew it." He shook his head teasingly. "Shut up!" I hissed, but couldn't help but laugh too.

"But other than that..." Damon stops laughing as I spoke, "I guess I'm okay with it." I wasn't sure of myself, but my mouth did the speaking for me before I could stop it.

Damons eyes search mine.

"You're okay with it?" He repeated. With his words, they seem somewhat... Soft.

"I'm okay with it." I repeat again.

Damon stays silent.

"I don't want to have to do this, Y/n." His finger trails down my cheekbone suddenly. The contact made me shiver from inside out. What was he doing?

"But I have to... I can't.. Let anyone know what me and Stefan are." He swallows, his Adams Apple bopping up and down as he did so.

"You have to forget."

"What?" I quickly snap back. "Forget? W- why? Why do I have to-"

"I'm sorry, Y/n. But you have to."

His blue eyes search mine some more, but this time, his eyelids grow. Bigger, and bigger. I can't help but stare deep into them, evreything around me a blur besides his eyes. It's like I had to stare into them. Something.. Was making me do so.

"Y/n," he spoke,

"You're going to forget about me and Stefan being vampires. You had a normal day, and decided to come by,"

He paused.

"Me and you hung out, and you left."
