As she sat in the car, she couldn't help but dread the event that was soon about to take place. An arranged marriage. It had been her grandparents and her soon-to-be groom's grandparents' last wish that their grandchildren get married. And now that they were gone, well, it would be disrespectful not to do so.
So here they were, she and her family going to XYZ hotel to meet Pratik and his family to decide the further details.
Everyone had arrived except Avneet. She didn't want to meet them. According to her 24 was a very early age get get married.
Her mother called her several times to reach her quickly.
She arrived after some time.....As she entered the room her eyes met with his and she recognized him he was none other than her childhood crush! She skipped a heartbeat as he smirked! 

Her mother exclaimed," Avneet why are you standing there? Come. Why were you this late? Come here quick sit here " 

Avneet replied "Sorry everyone for being late, actually l was having important work in the office "
Pratik's mother said "It's ok dear! We all know you're a responsible girl"
Avneet said nothing but smiled. 

Mr Kaur ( Avneet's father) continued "OK so let's start with the topic for what we are gathered. It's about the grand wedding of my beloved daughter and Mr Singhania's son"
Avneet choked on her water! 

"Be careful Avneet" Pratik said.
Everyone started laughing which made both of them confused. Mrs Singhania said "Shadi se pehle Etna pyaar" [ So much love before marriage]
Avneet felt very awkward. " we should let them talk with each other for some time," Mrs Singhania said. Everyone agreed.
Pratik and Avneet went to the hotel's pool to have a good talk but who knows if will it be a great talk? Pratik was the first to start the conversation 

" Remember me?"
"Hmm" Avneet replied. Pratik said "It's nice to meet you after a long time l still remember you were my classmate "
"Ic" Avneet replied and continued 

" So when are you getting a girlfriend " 

"When you will agree" Pratik replied.
Avneet's heart skipped a heartbeat. "just shut up, don't waste time and please disagree with this marriage" " Hmm don't you know it's our grandparents' last wish to get us married " Pratik said.

 
"They are just thinking about themself, their company their friendship what about us? Don't we have feelings aren't we human too?"Pratik said nothing but just stared at her dark black eyes. Before they could say anything Mrs.Kaur arrived and asked them to join their table. They had no chance but had to agree on it!
Avneet's grandfather said to Pratik's grandfather "Congratulations buddy!" with that everyone started to hug each other to celebrate the joy. But it seems Avneet wasn't happy.

As soon as both families stepped outside the hotel Avneet called Vani "Dude! dude! Brooo!!!!!!"
They decided to meet at their favourite spot.

 Vani asked  "What happened? Something wrong? Is it about that marriage meet?" 

"Hmm! You won't believe who is my groom! He is PRATIK SINGHANIA " Avneet replied. 

Vani started to jump in happiness and laugh loudly! "OMG anvu l'm so happy for you!!!! See l had told you na that you both are fated to end up together! " seeing her this condition, Avneet smiled and Vani said "Ohh hoo our new bride is blushing hmmm"

"Vani 'm not blushing, you know na he was my CRUSH. I had a crush on him to avoid someone but eventually, l fell in love with him! And l was never willing to confessto him because of that girl and why would he even try to propose to me I'm not even beautiful and worthy of him "
Avneet said. 

Vani replied "Ohh shut up girl! Your beautiful okay?" 

Avneet smiled and said "l can't deny the marriage because of our family but it's ok l will not look and him and will be cold to him "

At Pratik's house:
Everyone was enjoying but Pratik where he was? He was in his room shouting and dancing due to his happiness. But soon he changed his expression due to a knock at the door "Yes come in " It was his sister entering the room she came running and hugged him "Broo!! I'm so happy that finally you're getting married to the love of your life!" he replied "Areee Kaira be calm shhhh and don't tell anyone about this to anyone. Haha, I'm Pratik Singhania what is mine that mine finally that boy will not enter between us now! "
Kaira said "Yes brother "

After the dinner, Pratik came to his room and called Avneet
On call:
Pratik: Sweetheart<3!!!
Avneet: Hello who is this?
Pratik: sweetheart you love
Avneet: ek ulte haat ki padgi na tab tumahara Sara sweetheart bahar nikal jayega
Pratik: aree aree don't be angry I'm Pratik
Avneet: So, Pratik for your kind information my name is Avneet, not sweetheart!
Pratik: But l gonna called you sweetheart after all your my soon to be bride
Avneet blushed but she said "I'm feeling sleepy goodnight" 

 Before Pratik could say anything she cut the call.
"kya sweetheart bolne bhi nahi deti" ["What sweetheart you don't even let me speak"]

In the morning,
Avneet was doing her daily exercise until she received a call from Pratik.
"Oh god not again" She switched off her phone!!
After a few hours, she was ready in the traditional dress she wore a beautiful pistachio green colour kurti applied kajal and a bindi.
"Avneet dear come downstairs" Mrs Kaur shouted
"yes mumma coming" she replied.
While coming downstairs she noticed Singhania's family was in the living area having tea but then her eyes fell on Pratik who was wearing the same colour shirt as her Kurti.
