I run out the door and I see Finn waiting for me.
"I'm so sorry I took forever" I said to Finn.
"It's alright. I don't mind freezing to death" he said jokingly.
"Next time I take too long just come inside so you don't 'freeze to death'" I said sarcastically.
As we walk to school I realize that Finn keeps starring at me. I start wondering if maybe I have something on my face or if my hair still looks ratty or if I smell bad. Eventually I just look back at him.
"What" I say defensively.
"Nothing. You just look really pretty today" he says.
It makes me blush.
Then he starts blabbering nervously, "I mean it's not that you look ugly every other day. Oh gosh what am I saying. Ugh, I guess what I really mean is you always look beautiful."
All of a sudden, the stupidest thing I could ever say comes out of my mouth.
"Cool" I say back.
"Yep" he responds.
Oh my gosh how dumb can I be. Like that was the sweetest thing anyone, well any guy, has said to me and all I say is 'cool.'
We are at school now so as soon as we walk through the front door we part out ways.
Author's note: sorry I haven't posted in a long time. But since it's summer I'm going to try and post more. I really hope you like it and please give me feedback because I don't know if this is good or not.
