Broken (again)

*Magnus'sPOV*

I ran along the corridors. The files that I took from the AO were maps of the bases. So, I was on the right way. I stopped in front of the office. I sighed. I was going to see her. Finally. I opened the door and entered. But there it wasn't Jamina's room. It was the boss's office. He was in his 30's and had a black simple mask on his face. He wore some long trousers and black shirt. He was on a chair in front od a desk and slightly smiled when he saw me.

Boss: Well...it's a pleasure to finally meet you, Magnus. Jamina has told me a lot of things about you.

Magnus: WHERE IS SHE?! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?

Boss: But I didn't do anything...only a few adjustments.

He smiled. Even tho' he had a mask on his mouth, Magnus could still see. And this man scared him. And he didn't got scared that easily. He huffed and tried moving without feeling the pain. But still, his back was on fire.

Boss: I see you had a fight. With whom?

Magnus: Fuck off! Where is Jamina!?

He chuckled and got up. Instantly, Magnus took a small step back. The boss circled the desk and started preparing coffee. He prepared two cups and shoved one in Magnus's hand. He accepted, but still stayed alert.

Boss: Why don't you drink it? You really look bad...cone on, relax!

Magnus: No...just tell me where is she!?

Boss: Drink it and I will tell you.

He looked in the cup and his heart froze. That wasn't coffee. That was blood! He threw the cup in the boss's face. The liquid froze in place. With a small move, the cup landed at his feet and the blood disappeared. The boss dashed towards the boy and punched him in his chest. It was obviously not a fair fight. A 15-year-old vs a powerful 35 adult with superspeed and superstrength. But even so, Magnus dodged it and tried attacking from another side, but was quickly overwhelmed. In the middle of the action, two black wings emerged from behind Magnus and pushed the boss backwards. A pair of hands hugged him, and some knives flew to the boss. The wings shifted and covered both of them, while the knives exploded in the boss's face. When the dust cleared, Magnus turned and saw Jamina. She had a small scar under her eye and red marks on her hands, but she was ok. He hugged her and didn't let go, ignoring the burning pain from his back and being happy that he finally found her.

Magnus: I thought I lost you! Forever!

Jamina: Magnus, I told you! Don't come after me!

He looked in her eyes and smiled.

Magnus: I'll always come to you!

They were about to hug again, when the boss emerged from the rubble and threw some daggers at them. Jamina grabbed Magnus by the arm and jumped in the air, being careful at the same time not to hurt him.

Magnus: Ok, so...how do we beat him?

Jamina: I have an idea...but its crazy!

Magnus: I'll help you with it! No matter what!

Jamina: Ok, when I say now, call out your bakugan and we'll run.

She was still trying to maintain in the air, while dodging the blades that the boss was throwing at her.

Magnus: What will you do?

Jamina: Its crazy...but I'll open a portal to the only place that can hold my boss. The Void.

Magnus: Is it safe?

She scoffed and looked at him.

Jamina: Is anything that we did safe?

He laughed and nodded. She started creating a black sphere and than threw Magnus in the air.

Magnus: NILLIOUS! NOW!

The purple dragon spat some flames to the man on the ground and Jamina threw the ball at him. With an explosion, the entire construction was sucked in the hole, leaving behind only some rubble. They both plopped on the back of the dragon, being exhausted.

Jamina: Nilious...take us to a hotel.

Magnus: Ugh...! B-but with what will you pay?

She showed him some golden coins and he nodded. The woman at the desk was surprised to find two bloodied children asking for a room.

Jamina: We only need a place to patch ourselves up...that's all. Keep the change. Thank you...

She placed two gold coins on the desk and went to the elevator. They opened the room and had time only to lock the door, before stumbling one on another, letting the pain out. Jamina knew that Magnus had some scars, so she was the first that got up.

Jamina: Take down your cape

Magnus: But shouldn't we start with you?

Jamina: No. Come on...

She looked at the ripped skin and bit her lips.

Jamina: You lost a lot of blood...I'll have to make a transfusion...

She started mumbling as she tied up some bandages, sealing the wound. After she finished, she took a syringe from the first aid kit and stabbed herself. When she finally finished, she collapsed near him.

Magnus: Ok...now its your turn...

Jamina: Just...let me rest...a bit...

Her eyes were starting to close.

Jamina: I...am happy...that you came...

She was already asleep. Magnus smiled, but still, there was something bothering him. She was the one that needed to be saved...not him. He turned around and stared at the ceiling.

His thoughts:

"You are weak" "she had to save you" "so pathetic" "weak" "pathetic" "you don't deserve her" "go and throw yourself on the window"

He grabbed his head trying to shut the words. He started crying silently as he heard the words repeating in his head. Tiko's laugh was still there. "She had to give you, her blood. What kind of 'saver' needs to be saved himself?" That's it. He got up and wiped away the blood. He fixed his cape and got his bakugan. He looked at Jamina and placed a kiss gently on her cheek, without waking her up.

Magnus*softly*: I am sorry. But I have to leave you. You'll be better without me.

He smiled with tears at her and jumped on the balcony, opening his bakugan and flying away.

*3 hours later, third person POV*

When Jamina woke up, she didn't felt his soul. She quickly looked around and her heart froze.

Jamina: Magnus?

She got up and searched the rooms.

Jamina: Magnus?

She looked everywhere.

Jamina: Magnus!

She started crying and went to the balcony. His scent was fading away, and she didn't saw him anywhere in Los Volmos. She started crying, clenching onto the metal bars. After some hours, she got up and went to the bathroom. She took a shower and replaced her clothes. She looked in the mirror. Where the tears touched her skin, she now had two black lines, like a leopard. She sighed, got up and left the hotel. With the gold she had, she rented a small apartment. She could've afforded a mansion, but she didn't needed it. Five days later, she enrolled in the bakugan academy. There, she met some new people and new powers for her bakugan, like evolving. Some time later, the AO came too, and they started learning. Life was not easy for her, but she was a bit happy.

AN: Do not worry, they will meet again. And this time be sure that Jamina will beat the crap out of him for leaving her :)  (im joking)
