Help!
In a world of giving, we lend a hand,
Helping others across the land.
But when we need aid, why is it tough,
To ask for help, when the going gets rough?Helping is easy, it brings us delight,
A feeling of warmth, shining so bright.
But when we're in need, facing a trial,
Asking for help can be hard to compile. Our hearts hold fears, deep and wide,
Fear of rejection, of wounded pride.
So we hesitate, afraid to implore,
Afraid of judgement, closing that door.We strive to be strong, independent and tough,
Wearing a mask, pretending enough.
But vulnerability, a strength so profound,
Connects us together, in ways we've found.Asking for help reveals our true selves,
We're only human, with dreams and delves.
In that moment, we find strength anew,
A bridge to compassion, a bond so true.So remember, when help you require,
It doesn't diminish, nor douse your fire.
It shows your humanity, humble and real,
Creating connections, a shared appeal.Reach out your hand, both to give and receive,
For helping each other, we truly believe.
And when you need aid, don't be afraid,
You're deserving, remember, it's okay.Helping is easy, but asking is brave,
Together we rise, our unity engrave.
In simple acts of support, we find,
That asking for help, is strength defined.
