I was a senior at my high school, and there was this quiet, cute guy who sits beside me. I've never talked to him before, but when we got paired up for our project, I gained feelings for him. "So it's a science project, can you tell me any of your ideas?" I asked him, he stayed quiet like he was ignoring me. I didn't notice his ignoring attitude though, I did the project by myself and gave half the credits to him because I didn't want him to fail.

Since that, I've been extra clingy and joyful around him like we're best friends. It's true that he doesn't talk to me and when he does it's always "leave me alone" but I never did. I would always follow him to lunch and when we're walking home. Our houses were only 3 blocks away so I'd often join him as we walk home together. But everything changed after a month. He started to avoid me and constantly shout at me, but one day he gave me a letter that said meet me at the rooftop. Of course I got excited and quickly went up but when I reached the rooftop, my heart dropped.

He was holding a girl's hand, it looks like the girl from the class beside our classroom. He glared at me fiercely, and the girl was looking at me with sympathy. "I have a girlfriend, so just leave me alone!" He shouted. I was speechless, I couldn't get words out of my mouth. I looked down on the floor, I can't cry though, not in front of him at least. I tried to smile, but it was crooked and shaky. "Alright, I'll leave you alone."  I replied. After that, I rushed downstairs to the classroom and sobbed. After class, I hurried to get out of school and back at my house.

When I reached my house, I opened the door and went to my room without saying anything to my parents. I went up to my desk and started to sob quietly, that's when my emotions turned off. Some extra tears fell off but I wiped it away. I looked at myself at my mirror on my desk, I looked pathetic. My emotions turned off completely, I can no longer see any Joy, sadness, anger, nor fear inside me. Tomorrow, I got ready for school and hugged my parents goodbye.
When I arrived at the classroom I settled my things down, I also sat down my seat. I stayed quiet.

A few minutes later, the classroom door opens and he sat beside me, after all.. we were seat mates. He gave me a confused look, but I didn't look at him for even one second. After class, it was break. I cleaned my things and I left there, leaving him a bit shocked. I went to the cafeteria and ate my snacks there, I only had a few friends but they were absent that day so I had to eat alone for now. He walked up to me with narrowed eyebrows and a confused expression. "You didn't talk with me at all." He spoke, but I ignored him and quickly left the cafeteria.

I ran out of there as fast as I can. I hurried back to the classroom and stared out the window to distract myself from what just happened. Soon the lesson started and when I was busy paying attention, he kept sliding me notes and apologies that said "Look, I'm sorry." But I didn't budge. After class again, I started to pack my things but he grabbed my wrist and glared at me.

"I'm sorry, the girl who I said wasn't my girlfriend, It's just a random girl who I paid so that you'll leave me alone. I never thought you'd actually ignore the hell out of me, so forgive me, please?" He asked, but I stared at him coldly. I shrugged my arm away from him and replied with "You wanted me to leave you alone so I did leave you alone, I'm doing what you asked." After that, I took my things and left the school. I started to walk home, but I noticed he was walking behind me. We were living 3 blocks away so he wasn't following me or anything. I went to my house and he went to his.

A month of ignoring him passed by, and one day he pulled me into an empty classroom and looked down at the floor, looking sad. "I'm sorry, please forgive me. What I did was childish and really hurtful. I didn't realize then that.. I did like you, so please.. do you think you still have those feelings for me?" He asked. I was completely confused and speechless, but all my time and effort would do nothing if I just accepted him again. "So it took you a month and a half to show your true colors, I'm sorry but you could've just spoken to me about my behavior rather than faking a girlfriend. It doesn't seem like I'll be having feelings for you anytime soon so.. Apologies accepted,  but I don't like you anymore." I replied. He looked at me with teary eyes and nodded. "Right.. well.. your forgiveness is better than nothing, thank you." He said back to me, I smiled softly and nodded. After that, things went back to normal and we stayed friends, but I wonder if he still had feelings for me.

..End (Idk if I should do a p2)
