Alec's Birthday!!!

(Alec POV) (A/N Btw guys Alec is in this chappies picture and the cover of the book. =^.^=)

"AAARRRGGG!!! I HATE COMMERCIALS!!!" I yelled. I was watching one of my favorite tv shows. It was called World Of Warlocks. I always stay up late in my room to watch it. Even on school nights. I just set an alarm on my iPhone to wake me up 10 minutes before the show starts because sometimes I fall asleep and I have to get snacks. Unfortunately the show isn't on ABC3 where it plays the whole show then adds before a different show comes on. World Of Warlords is viewed on nickelodeon. Which sucks!

~~~Flashback still Alec POV~~~

It is 10:25. I have my snacks and I have a small bottle of Pepsi Max.
I have everything I need, but I feel like I am missing something.

HMMMMMMM...

I know! I am missing Diago my pet dog!

I jump off my bed and slowly open my creaking bedroom door. I look down the hallway towards my mums room. I can see the faint light of her television shining from under her bedroom door. So I step out of my bedroom and tiptoe downstairs. Diago was taught not to come upstairs unless I call him. My mum doesn't like cleaning up all his dog hair but she allows him in my room because I am the one who has to clean it. Unlike most teenagers I keep my room clean. Otherwise mum would take away my Xbox. And then I can't play games online with my friends.

I open the door leading into the kitchen and can't see Diago anywhere. So I walk through the kitchen into the dining room. The dining room was sooo big when we moved in that we decided to put Diago's mat in the corner. Along with all his doggy toys spread out everywhere.

"Diago! Come here boy!" I whispered as loud as I dared. I heard the scurrying of paws and felt Diago jump into my arms. "Good boy Diago!" I gave him a scratch behind the ear which he likes very much. Then I looked at my watch. I got it for Christmas and it lights up when you push a button on the side. I saw that it was 10:29pm!!! My show starts in less then one minute!!! so I hurry back upstairs with Diago in my arms. If I let him run along side me then my mum would here his paws hitting the wooden steps as he ran. I can't let us get caught now. We are so close.

I skip through the opening to my bedroom and shut the door quietly. Phew!!!
I jumped on my bed and placed Diago beside me. I looked up at the TV and World Of Warlords was just in the middle of its opening song.

"Just in time. Ehh bud?" I pat the top of his head and he licked my hand approvingly.

And then the show begun.

~~~Flashback End Still Alex POV~~~

"ARRGGG!!! STUPID COLES ADD!!!" I complained. I grabbed the remote from my bedside cabinet to see if there is another interesting show on that I can watch till the episode comes back on. As soon as I looked back at the screen I drooled. The add was about World Of Warlords. But amazingly amazing. Someone created a video game BASED off of WORLD OF WARLORDS!!!

OHHH MYYY GODDD!!!
"Diago they have a video game of World Of Warlords!!!" I pulled Diago onto my lap and hugged him tightly. He whimpered and I let him go before I'd kill him. I grabbed my pillow instead and hugged it tightly. If that was Diago he would have been a pancake by now.

I stopped freaking out and grabbed a notepad and pen so I can write down the details of the video game.

"Are you a fan of the show World Of Warlords?" The add guy said.
"YES!!!" I answered. And the video game showed up.
"Then get ready for the new game... WORLD OF WARLORDS!!!"

"YEA!!!" I yelled as loud as I dared.

"This game is based off the worlds number one TV show for the last 2 years! The creator has reject our offer for an interview but he has told us that we can reveal his name. The creator of the worlds best tv show and video game is DAN PHIL!!!" The add announcer yelled as a blackened figure appeared on the TV. "Be quick! The game is selling quick. Get one before their gone!!!" Then the add finished and the show continued. I just sat there for the rest of the show watching the show but also thinking about the video game.

That is gonna be the best game ever!

~Time Skip Morning~Still Alec POV~

I wake up to the sun rays shining through my window. I instantly jump out of bed and run downstairs. I don't get into my school uniform because it is a SATURDAY!!!
I run into the kitchen where my mum has freshly cooked Bacon Eggs and some cookies fresh out of the oven. The sweet, sweet smell of my favorite foods in the world filled the kitchen and slowly crept down the hallway.

"What's all this for?" I ask her. She jumps a little at my presence.

"Don't tel me you forgot?" She turned her head smiling ear to ear. I shook my head signifying that I was clueless.
"It's your 15th birthday silly!" She embraced me with a big hug. Ohhh yea! It is my birthday. "You still haven't told me what you would like?" She added as she finished my birthday breakfast.

"Oh... Right..." I know exactly what I want! I want the new video game: World Of Warlords!

You can have anything you like. 15 is pretty special!" She put my plate on the breakfast table and a mug full of hot milo.

"Go on eat up while you think about what you want!" I listen to my mums orders and eat. I am not sure how to ask her for the video game?! I ate the last piece of bacon and gulped down the last few drops of my hot milo.

I exhaled loudly and that alerted my mum that I was finished.
"So what would you like for your birthday?" She asked. I froze. Well it's now or never.

"So?" I brought my plate to the kitchen and exhaled and started to answer her question as I washed my plate.

"There is this new video game going around..." I turned the tap on and glanced at her from the corner of my eye. She was just sitting at the breakfast table, looking at me. I guess I should continue. "Well I was wondering if I could have it for my birthday." I put my dishes in the drying rack to dry and went into the lounge room and turned the TV on. She still didn't say anything.

As soon as the TV turned on I immediately muted the sound so I could hear if she said anything. I pressed various buttons and eventually got onto recordings. I always record World Of Warlocks even though I watch it when it is first viewed. I fast forward for a while taking quick glances every now and then at my mum who has now moved into the lounge room with me, looking at the TV.

I quickly pressed the play button when the add for World Of Warlocks showed up. I turned the sound on and shifted myself so I was facing mum so I could see her expression.

Finally the add finished and I pressed the off button still not looking away from her.

"Looks alright to me. But it looks quite expensive since you have to get all these different bits and pieces so how about I get you the headset and then you can spread out the rest of the bits with the rest of the family?" She explained. I jumped up from my seat and jumped up and down on the spot. I gave her a hug and ran upstairs. Continually yelling "thank you, thank you, thank you!!!"

I hope it is interesting enough for you. I know it isn't that long but the more I get into the story the longer the chappies will be. I promise.
