*Aoife's POV*

"So you guys live here? In Mansfield?" Nathan asked. I nodded, "So what are you gonna do when they go back to LA?" He asked, bringing that serious tone back to the trio, as Nick said, that was Chris, Matt, and I, due to the start of the conversation earlier. "Uhm..." Chris said, clearly starting to ponder, again. "Because I can see how close you guys have become, already--like--I'm just curious to what's actually happening, here." Nathan asked. "I mean, even though it is between you guys--I'm kinda curious too." Nick said, "Because this doesn't happen for Chris, hardly at all." He paused, getting off his bed to throw his plate away, "In this sort of serious way, where the person's really real with him and not just trying to use him for something." He added, sitting back on the bed, his back against the way next to Ashton.

I had decided to leave that answer to Chris. I wasn't the one who had a whole career, and life out in California. Wasn't the one who had so many opportunities in front of me, and things I was making happen for myself in that aspect. I just worked my 9-5 job, in my hometown, and hadn't made any real plan of changing any of it to do something with my life by that point. He had so much in front of him, and I knew it'd be completely selfish for me to even have any input on what or how things planned out for us. Even though, there was a part of me that wanted him to say all the things that was going through my head, I knew it'd be selfish and childish of me to even want those things.

"Yo... Not to bring the party down." Nathan said, noticing how nobody had said anything after Nick. "No--uhm--" Chris said, "It's just, uh--" He said, then seemed to have forgotten his words again. "We're not talking about it tonight, we're just having a good relaxing night." Matt said, nudging Chris' shoulder with his knuckles, "Right guys?" He asked. I nodded, then Chris looked at me, then to Matt and nodded, "That's another day conversation." He added, saying to the other three. "Again." Nick said, holding his hands up briefly, "This trio is crazy." He laughed. "No, I only said that--because I asked the same question in the bathroom." Matt paused, "And it breaks Chris--see--" He said, snapping his fingers in front of Chris' face, causing him to flinch out of it, "A little soon for the question." Matt finished. "Alright, not the time for the question." Nathan said, "Got it." He added. "You guys wanna go swimming?" He asked, the guys nodded. "We don't have swim stuff--but we'll come with you." Ashton said, "Even though I'm sure loverboy over here would like to see Effy in a bikini." He added, getting off the bed. "Yoo---" Chris held his hands up, "I'm not just here for the appearance." He stated, "Even if it is a massive plus." He added, getting off the bed.

The next morning came fast, probably due to the fact that none of us had slept very long. Knowing check out of the hotel was at ten, and we hadn't gotten to bed before seven AM finally, we were all exhausted. After the guys swam, until around one when the pool closed, we had gone back to the room and played the Nintendo Switch Mario Kart for a few hours, then they just kept finding things to do. Mine and Ashton's guess was it was because of it being the last night in the hotel with them, then who knows when we would have seen them again. And we were going to miss them a lot. Getting to know them so well in such a short amount of time, in some way, made it harder to think of the fact of them going away.

"You don't have to do that." Nick said, speaking to me as I tidied up the hotel room. "This place is terrible---we can't leave the hotel room like this for the housekeepers." I said. "Why are you so protective of the housekeepers?" Nathan laughed, yawning afterwards. He was still laying on Nick's bed, not fully awake. "My mom was a housekeeper for many years, until my brothers were born--and she used to tell me horror stories from what or how she'd find hotel rooms once people left." I paused, "And I always said I'd never leave a hotel room messy, because it's just not right." I added. "You're so nice." Matt said, "I can understand that, though." He added, beginning to help me tidy up the mess. We stacked the pizza boxes on the desk, along with the other trash we had a big plastic bag that we had put it all in, then realized the bag wasn't enough. "You must be like---" Nathan started to say, "Really tidy person, at home--because this is nuts." He said, getting off the bed finally, to gather his things. "Yeah, our house is always tiptop shape." Ashton said, "Between her OCD, and mine---we usually stay on top of everything pretty well." He added. "Spend two weeks with these guys on vacation---there's no keeping up with them." Nathan said, kneeling down to tie his shoes. "Oh shut up, Nate---you're worse than me and Matt combined." Chris said, closing the hotel room door. "Where'd you run off to? I thought you were in the bathroom--" Nick asked. "I went downstairs to ask for a trash bag." Chris said, holding up the clear trash bag, "Because that small bag over there isn't going to hold everything." He added, leaning down to me before he pressed a kiss to my lips before he headed over to the other side of the room. "Great idea." Nick nodded, "You're so good for him---" He said to me, pointing before he took the trash bag from Chris to fill it.
