The next day had arrived & you all met with Tsireya & Rotxo again. Lessons that evening were much more peaceful because Ao'nung wasn't present of course. You all got to learn how to sign some phrases & soon after went for another swim with Tsireya.

She showed you around the beautiful sea introducing many different things to your siblings & you. It was amazing how you got to enjoy it without having to go up for air as much because your breathing got a lot better very quickly.
You swam besides her as she continues to guide you guys further.
"It is beautiful." You sign to her & she smiles.

...

"Kiri?" Later that day you saw her laying on her stomach in the water. "What are you doing?" You giggle at her when she pops her head up.
"Come, look at this!" She gestured for you to come over.

You lay in front of her, she smiles at little holes in the sand. You're not sure what you're supposed to look at, but you were just happy Kiri was having a good time.

You loved how intertwined she was with nature, it brought a smile to your face.

The sweet moment between you & your sister was soon interrupted by none other than the fish boy & his friends.

"What are they doing?" Aonung said as his friends laugh. They continue making jokes as you & Kiri get up.

"Huh, what did you say?" Kiri asked him.
"Are you some kind of freaks?"
"He asked if you are freaks." His friend repeated his words.

You stayed quiet because after all, they were just annoying little boys who wanted attention.

"No." Kiri replied, you put your arm around her shoulder as you both try to walk away.

"Are you sure? I mean you're not even true Na'vi!" He started circling around you both & grabbed Kiri by the arms. "Do not touch her!" You shove him.

"Wow, this freak has nerve." One of the boys behind you pulls your tail & you turn around to hiss at him.

Before anything else can escalate, Lo'ak comes walking towards you all. "Hey! Back off, fish lips."

They also start to make fun of him. "Leave us alone!" Kiri shouts at them, & Neteyam also starts to walk towards you. He shoves Ao'nung & scolds the group of boys. "You heard what she said, now back off."

Ao'nung starts to back up with his hands in the air. "Smart choice. And from now on, I need you to respect my sisters." He added.

One of the boys hisses at you & your siblings so you & Kiri mocked him by making silly faces.

While walking away, Ao'nung said something. "Look at them, all freaks. The whole family." His friends laughed.

Lo'ak turned around & circled back. "Lo'ak.." You sighed. "I got this, sis." He made his way back to the group & pretended to show them a magic trick with his hands. You chuckle knowing where this was going.

Ao'nung & the rest were too busy trying to see Lo'aks "magic trick" that they didn't suspect a thing until Lo'ak balled up his fist & punched Ao'nung not once, but three times. He fell to the ground not knowing what just happened to him.

"It's called a punch bitch! Don't ever touch my sisters again!" Your brother shouted. You silently laugh while trying to cover it with your hand.

A fight broke out & Neteyam joined in, everyone was shouting & pulling tails. "So stupid!" Kiri says, you just laughed at it the whole time.

"That's enough, girls!" You jokingly said. Kiri eventually broke out laughing too.

...

Your dad scolds your brothers along with you too.
"What was the one thing I asked of you?" He scolds you three. Neteyam tried to take the blame but Jake knew he didn't start anything.

"Ao'nung started it, he called Kiri & Ma'hi freaks." Lo'ak says. Jake paused for a moment before telling Lo'ak to go apologize to him. "But dad, they deserved it!" You complained.

"He is the chiefs son, I don't wanna hear it! Ma'hi you are supposed be the oldest, you should know better." You rolled your eyes & stormed out.

"Hey! I'm not finished speaking to you!" He shouts.
"Bye, dad." You continued walking.

...

Some of the reef people still gave you odd looks when you made your way to the shore, they even moved immediately when you passed through. You sighed because all you wanted to do was take a calming stroll, but it felt so hard to even do that.

"Ay! Ma'hi" Somebody shouted out to you. You look in the distance to see Ano, one of the boys who helped you with your Ilu that day when Ao'nung had to go. Him & a girl walked towards you waving.

You were honestly surprised he even remembered your name or how they didn't just walk the other direction upon seeing you. "Hi guys." You smiled.

"Hey, how is going for you now?" He asks.
"It's good."
"That's great. Oh and this is my sister, Leti."
He introduced her as she greets you.

"Have you met any new friends so far?" She asks.
"Very little, I don't think i am very liked here." You chuckle. "No worries, we will be your new friends." Leti giggles.

"And just give it time, I'm sure most of the village will warm up to you." Ano added.
"So what are you up to at this time?" He asks you.

"I was just going for a walk just to clear my mind."
"Oh well we will leave you to do that. If you ever want to come join us you are welcome to." Leti says while you smile. "Okay."

You & the two siblings soon departed. You walked for a little until you found a perfect spot on a large rock to lay down & rest.

This time you kept your jewelry on, not wanting to lose another valuable & you immediately fell asleep a few seconds after closing your eyes. This nap was definitely needed.

...

Just when you were at peace sleeping, you were awoken by somebody giggling. You had barely opened your eyes when the person spoke, "Do you usually sleep in random places in the forest too?"

You sat up just to be met with Ao'nungs bruised face. "And do you usually look this ugly?" He rolls his eyes at your comment while you stood up & walked away.

While you walked off you turn your head to the sea & saw Ao'nung walking to his friend group but Lo'ak was there too. You looked confused at first but came to the conclusion that they just settled their differences, & so you continued to walk back home.
