Hallie

It wasn't long before the train began to slow down and we pulled up to another station. The doors opened swiftly and when Harry stood up and exited, I followed. We were on a very similar platform to the previous one and I could see a wide open space ahead that looked like a huge shopping center, except through the windows I could see that there were pools, tennis courts, a library and something that resembled a cafe. There really was everything you could need down here.

"This is another part of paradise. There's more recreational areas here and we're directly underneath the coastline, sometimes some people even go above for a swim in the sea." The coastline? How far underground were we to either be under the sea or under so far that the sea wouldn't cause any issues? The information Harry was sharing was pleasantly surprising and I found each second down here more and more appealing. "This is where my office is, I need to meet Louis and Niall. You're coming with me because I don't trust you all the way back at my house alone."

"Okay." I responded, not knowing what else to say.

He didn't say anything else and simply started walking at his fast pace. We walked past the large windows that displayed many recreational areas. There were so many people enjoying things that I hadn't even dreamed of seeing again until now. I'd only hoped of freedom but this was so much more. It really was paradise.

We quickly made a turn and in front of me was a large door that had the words 'Main Office' imprinted on them. Harry once again used his bracelet on the scanner to the left. It opened the door and we were quickly entering into a room. Inside the walls were painted grey and there were 3 desks. There was also a sofa and a few filing cabinets in the room. Niall, who I'd met earlier was sat on the sofa. A brunette guy, who I presumed to be Louis, was sat at one of the desks writing something I couldn't see.

"Who's the girl?" Louis hadn't even looked up at me but had already questioned Harry about who I was.

"This is Hallie. I need her to stay with you for a while."

"What?" Me and Louis both said at the same time, Louis finally lifting his head out of his work.

"I can't have her at mine I have things to do. I don't know what else to do with her." Harry defended. Again, speaking about me as if I wasn't there. And again, he was the one who brought me here. Why would he do that if he had no reason for it?

"They won't question it Harry, you know this. They won't even understand, they're too yo-" Niall started, but Harry promptly cut him off before he could finish his sentence.

"Don't you dare bring them into it. I don't care. She isn't staying with me, so I either throw her back out there," Harry pointed up to the ceiling, "or she stays with Louis." I was extremely curious who they all meant by 'they' and 'them' was it the same people Liam had mentioned on the train?

"Why can't she stay with Niall?" Louis questioned.

"Because Niall lives like a 19 year old kid and isn't responsible enough." Harry argued back, earning a middle finger from Niall.

"I'm very capable of looking after myself, I don't need either Niall or Louis to babysit." I butted in, I didn't understand why I couldn't live freely like the rest of the people down here.

"Look," Harry pointed his finger in my face one again, "this isn't some silly little game. There's serious shit that happens down here and I'm not 100% trusting of you yet. I need someone to keep an eye on you just until I've earned your trust and then you're free to do as you please."

"You brought me down here!" I almost shouted back, "did everybody have to go through this process then or is there something suspicious about me?"

"Everyone's different. Some did. Some didn't." Harry stepped back, shrugging off my questions and avoiding giving me a proper answer.
