It was 4:00 AM, my eyes could not stay closed.
I continued to toss and turn throughout the night, contemplating scary thoughts that occupied my head. Tears streamed down from my one eye down my face. My cheeks became itchy, being irritated by the salty water. It honestly hurt to keep my eyes open. They were jet red. I was delirious, if only I had... If only... I then sat up in my state of discomfort, then quietly exiting my bed as to not make a single noise. If my parents heard me again, well... Let's just say it'll be the last time I ever see again. I head towards my window and stare out into the dark abyss which is space. I contemplated my existence. Everything seemed meaningless once you think deep down. We are but an ant within the vast universe. Everything in this world is meaningless, the galaxy is meaningless. We will all die.
Depressive thoughts occupied my head. My tears came to a stop. I continued to stare out my window for a few more minutes before deciding it was time.
It's time. You can do this. No one will care. No one will know. It won't matter. It won't matter.
I slowly walked to my bathroom, once I reached the door, I hesitantly moved my arm up to reach the handle, shakily opening it. My heart was racing, but I knew it had to come to this. The bathroom door began to creak open once I mustered up enough courage. I stepped inside the bathroom, quietly shutting it behind me. I steadily paced myself to the mirror, then standing in front of it. I observed my distraught appearance; I didn't feel like myself. I opened the cabinet, revealing multiple self-care products. But I wasn't here for that. I reached behind my toothpaste, grabbing a knife I hid there. I closed the cabinet, revealing my face once more. I observed the knife, brushing my fingertips against the sharp edge, slightly cutting them.
I looked back at myself, contemplating whether or not this is the right thing to do. "They don't listen. They don't care about me. They'd rather have me off dead anyways, so who cares?" I thought. I grin began to form on my face. I held the knife up against my face, then dragging it slowly to my neck, cutting both my face and neck quite deeply. The blood dripped down my body, it felt good on my skin, satisfying. I began to chuckle, but quickly covered my mouth as to avoid my family hearing me. If they woke up, my plan would fail. I only had one chance. One chance to execute this. Once chance to succeed. This is the night. I can do it this time.
I opened my bathroom door quietly once again, stepping out into my room and heading towards the door. I slightly creaked the door open, peaking out into the dimly lit hallway. The coast was clear, so I cracked the door open a bit more before being able to slip through. I knew what I had to do first. I turned left, seeing a door at the end of the hallway slightly open. "Perfect" I thought to myself, knowing I can get in with no disruptions.
I opened the door, revealing a dark room, only being illuminated by the moon. But it was perfect. I was in the shadows. He was right in the light. I inched closer, my hands shaking from both adrenaline and impatience. As I got closer, I began to see my big brother, along with his girlfriend laying peacefully on the bed. I held my knife up above my head, swiftly swinging it down in one quick movement. The knife jabbed directly into my brother's head. The grin on my face then turned into a devious smile. I struggled to retrieve the knife from my brother's head, but ripped it out, nonetheless. I walked over to the other side, seeing his girlfriend sleeping peacefully. I had an immense hatred towards her. She took big brother away from me.
I lifted the knife above my head once again, swinging it down directly into her abdomen. She immediately jolted up, gasping in pain. I covered her mouth to avoid any noise. I then inched closer to her face and whispered; "Bye bye, Bakayarô~" I then grasped the knife and moved it in an upwards motion, tearing her insides slowly, but efficiently. Her eyes widened, but then went dull as I reached her chest. She fell backwards, going completely still. I chuckled at the sight of them. "What a lovely couple~" I thought to myself.
I was happy. But, not satisfied. I knew this wasn't enough. It wasn't. It wasn't enough.
I exited my brother's room, walking down the hallway once again. The staircase to my left, my room to my right, and 3 doors directly in front of me. I knew exactly which room to visit next. I headed towards the right door in front of me, opening it slightly to peek inside. Once my eyes adjusted, I saw my mother laying on the bed, but no sign of father. I assumed he was downstairs.
I opened the door and snuck in, shutting it behind me. I inched closer and closer towards my sleeping mother. My hands were shaking more than ever. I had to get this off.
Once I finally reach my mother, I stroked my fingers through her hair. "Oh mother~ If only you'd understand." I whispered. I then noticed my mother turn her head. She had a concerned look on her face. "What the hell are you doing in my room this late you bitch?" She said, clearly agitated. I smiled before quickly stabbing her in the side of her stomach. She screamed out in pain. "What the fuck are you doing?!" She yelled out. I then took the knife out of her side, then stabbing it in once again. She moaned, as the pain was unbearable. I continued to stab her continuously in multiple different areas. She kept telling me to stop, but that only made me continue to stab her more.
I came to a stop before staring her in the face. Blood was seeping from her mouth, she coughed over and over. She wouldn't shut up. My eye twitched. I was sick of her noises. I then lifted the knife directly over her face, stabbing her directly between the eyes. I continued to stab her face over and over until there was nothing but brains all over her pillow. I began to laugh manically. She was finally dead. I could finally live how I wished.
I then turned around, seeing my father stood in the doorway. "W-What did you do...?" He mumbled. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?!" He then charged towards me, tackling me to the ground and repeatedly punching me in the face. I attempted to block, but he was much taller, and much heavier than me. I reached for my knife before quickly grabbing it and stabbing him in the leg. He flinched back and fell on his ass. I quickly stood up and sat on top of him before repeatedly stabbing him over and over in the stomach. He collapsed onto his back, his eyes rolling to the back of his head. Even after he went still, even after his eyes went dull, I continued to stab him, over, and over, and over. I was covered in blood. But I came to a stop when I heard crying coming from behind me.
I quickly stood up, looking behind me and revealing a crib which held my baby brother inside. I inched towards the crib and looked at him. I dropped the knife and picked him up, staining his white cloth with his father's blood. I began to cradle him back and forth as I held him in my arm. His crying began to fade.
"Aww... You're hungry, aren't you? Don't worry..." I chuckled. "Your big sister will take good care of you from now on~"
