I open my eyes. A red little feather is tickling my nose causing me to let out a sneeze. I try to go back to sleep again, not wanting to face what today has for me.
The little red feather tickles my ear, causing me to take it in my hand with annoyance. I squeeze the feather tightly before stabbing it with a pencil. A yelp with pain from my brother is heard from somewhere outside my room. "Y/n! Don't do that" I hear Keigo whine.
"Then don't wake me up" i grumble. I hear a chuckle and someone entering my room. "It's your first day at U.A today" i hear his voice and feel someone sitting down on my bed besides me. My Peregrine falcon wings are being pulled by Keigo, causing me to slap him over the face. I feel how my feather tail lays uncomfortably between me and the matress.

I groan as i stretch. It was a good stretch as my muscles shook a little. "Yeah righ-" my words get cut off by my yawn. My quirk is the same as my brother's, fierce wings. Because of this many recognize me as pro hero Hawks' sister, and i get unwanted attention. My facial markings around my eyes, just like Keigo, make me even more recognizable. One of the differences in out appearance is that i have animal ears, fairly long c/c almost bat-like ears, with fur and earfluff (like Tighnari from Genshin impact, a lil shorter). They improve my hearing, too! And with fang-like canines it only made my appearance more unique. The fact that i can grow my fingers to claws makes me an even more dangerous opponent along with my bird feet.
I sit up, seeing my brother's amused look on his face. "Let me guess, it looks like i have a h/c bird nest on my head?" I sigh with one raised eyebrow, looking at Keigo with a look that says 'are you serious?' "Yep!" He answers me with an amused chuckle. I do a mental facepalm as i stand up, stretching my wings aswell.
"Well i guess i'll get ready then. I'll eat breakfast on my way there" i say as i take down my uniform from my clothes hanger. I turn around to look at Keigo, who is flattening out his feathers. "Get outta here you damn turkey" i say as i kick his right leg.
Keigo leaves quickly and laughs at my insult. My blazer didn't have any holes in the back, i guess they kinda forgot that. My shirt, however, has holes by the back for my wings, which i am thankful for. I slip into my skirt, my feather tail fitting good, having black tights in form of shorts. I pull on the white shirt and tie the blazer around my waist.
With everything on except my shoes i brush my teeth, humming on a song. Seeing my reflection in the mirror i can tell Keigo wasn't lying when he said my hair looked like a h/c bird nest. I brush through my hair, my h/s (hair style, like: curly, flat, wavy, etc.)hair starting to look better. My hair isn't directly tangled, more just a mess.
Me and my brother live in a large apartment above his agency, far up in a tall building. There are many many Windows, it makes me and my brother more comfortable, being able to see from the sky when not flying, and having exits.
