Will's POV
Will was pacing back and forth across the cabin palms sweating. This was it. He was going to get Hades' blessing and propose to Nico! Assuming Hades said yes...
He tossed the coin in the fountain and said the incantation. His palms were soaking wet from how much he was sweating, waiting for it to happen.
"Yes?" Hades said.
"Could I have your permission to- um- uh..."
"Eat ghost peppers? Got to Detroit? Say hi to Hazel? Just say it!" Hades blurted.
"Marry your son?" Will shrugged.
"WHATTTTT!" Hades screamed.
"I've been wanting to for a while now." Will added.
"Listen young man. If you get a divorce, if you hurt Nico..." Hades lectured.
"I understand." Will replied.
"Good." Hades replied before the chat ended.
Will sighed and smiled. He did it! He had permission to propose to Nico! There was only one problem with that. Will had no idea how to do it. He asked everyone he knew. He even made the dumbest decision of all! He asked Percy how he did it! But an underwater proposal wasn't going to work for Will. The only idea Will had come up with so far was to propose in a similar style to how Nico asked him out. Not a winner. Definitely not a winner.
