This update got delayed. So sorry about that! :')

Sunghoon slowly turns once he gets hold of his gasping breath, squarely meeting Jay's mirthless eyes with stubborn pride; his entire face faux impassive, as though his heart isn't pounding away in his ears that he feels its thrumming in his mouth. Through such buzzing, he registers the faint sound of water running in the bathroomꟷthe false sense of security that had him fooled for a minute. Bastard.
"You are cursing at me in your head, aren't you?"
Sunghoon glares warily at the hand beside his head retreating back to his pant pocket, and plasters himself against the door in alert when Jay straightens with an exhaleꟷtoo close for his comfort. Standing this close without shoes, cowering against the door, Jay's a towering and suffocating presence over him. It makes his hackles rise. Sunghoon never considered himself a violent person but Jay's a threat he cannot evade nor fight. The thought leaves a bad taste in his mouth.
"What do you want?" his voice scrapes like sandpaper, tingling his throat with its rawness.
"And he speaks," Jay smirks, no longer as sourꟷa hint of teeth glinting under the faint light, he looks awfully satisfied with himself. "With how hard you went at your game I thought I might have to use more... persuasive means to make you talk." Sunghoon frowns when he eyes his mouth. "Nevertheless," he shrugs airily, "this saves me a lot of trouble... As much as I enjoy playing with you, I simply don't have the time. I'm sure you'd rather enjoy some time off yourself. The sooner you cooperate, the sooner we'll get this over with, don't you agree?"
It takes him a moment to digest. When he does, Sunghoon's eyes widen with indignation. And he flushes from both anger and embarrassment.
For someone so mannerless Jay can certainly look the part. His jaw ticks.
Don't. It's what he wants.
Sunghoon cannot stand him.
"Whatever you want, I don't have it."
Jay hums. "Don't believe you. Shocker. Why don't you sit your fawn legs down and let me see for myself?" His head tilts in what should be an invitation, but he shows no interest in stopping his gawking and backing the hell up. Sunghoon gets the strangest feeling he's smelling him, like some dog, no different than the rest. Either these people have no sense of personal space or they simply don't have the willpower to stand a whiff of human blood. Or both.
A lock of stray hair brushes against Sunghoon's own, wet, and dripping, and a lone droplet grazes by Sunghoon's knuckles and lands on the floorboards with a 'pat'. He's not sure which is messier, his or Jay's stupid undercut. The wet locks framing Jay' hawk-like eyes keep dripping water drops down his brow, into his eyes, and down the slope of his nose, disappearing into his shirt neck that's unbuttoned down to his tan chest. Sunghoon wonders if he was in the middle of dunking his head in the bathtub before he decided fuck it, and ran back just to ruin him for the night to make it even. Now that they are no longer glowing, he looks comparatively harmless. But the unwavering stare itself looks foreboding, like the calm before a storm.
A sharp pain suddenly zings through his neck drawing him back from his thoughts and sizzles down his spine to settle an ache in his hips of all things. Sunghoon shivers, eyes fluttering in response to the intensity of it.
No. Not pain. Something else. Something primal.
Sunghoon frowns, and blinks in confusion, out of place. He grits his teeth to swallow down the noise niggling in his throat and braces his feet firm on the floor, keeping his loose fists pressed against the wood. Part of him wants to do something, anything to relieve himself from this burning ache, and the other part of him wants to crawl into a hole and just die. What did they do to him?
