Larisa came out of the bath while drying her black silky hair with a towel.
She observed the four servant girls who stood like rigid statues, heads lowered with trays of food in their hands.
She didn't miss the slight trembling of their hands no matter how much they tried feigning calmness.
She turned a blind eye as she spoke as softly as possible, "why is it you who brought the food, where is Lifar."
Lifar was her head maid and also the only maid who didn't tremble in her presence.
The soft voice coming from the rumoured demoness princess only felt like the sweet whisperings of a devil before it takes your soul. Thinking like this they couldn't help shaking even more. One girl carrying soup couldn't hold the tray due to her hands shaking so much and ended up dropping the tray and soup.
The sound of breaking porcelain mixed with splashing water filled the silent room, the servant girl tremblingly peered up and met blood red orbs like something straight out of a nightmare gazing at her and her soul immediately flew out of her body from fright.
She fell to her knees followed by the other girls and started hitting her forehead on the floor as she insistently pleaded, "please pardon me princess, it waswasn't my-my-my intention to Brea-break the bowl."
She continued to bang her forehead on the floor, "please don't kill me, please don't kill me,"
Larisa stepped forward in-order to help the girl stand up but she only became more scared as she clawed away in frenzy and banged her head harder and she continued to beg for mercy. At this late, she would kill herself before Larisa even decided if she wanted her killed or not.
Larisa's eyes contracted when she saw blood on the floor and yelled, "Enough!"
The three other girls lowered their heads even more while the girl who was banging her head jotted up before falling down unconscious.
Larisa turned to walk away while she said in a shaky voice, "take your friend and the food away and get someone to clean this mess up," she just lost her appetite.
She went into her dressing room and sat in-front of the mirror. Was she so scary in their eyes that no matter what did or even if she just had to stand there and they all trembled as though the devil was standing in-front of them and not her.
She raised her pale white hand and covered the red eyes in the mirror and for a moment she forgot about the feature that separates her from the rest of the world. She would be a normal princess loved by everyone, her servants wouldn't fear her, but fate is cruelly misplaced.
She brought down her hand and faced the bitter truth.
She got dressed in one of her many red dresses and accompanied it with even redder eye makeup and lipstick, drowning out her red eyes.
But no amount of red makeup or clothes could cover up her reputation as the red eyed demoness.
