Ayush, a young man of 23, sat in his car, clutching his bucket list diary. As he drove towards his and Guru's home, a mix of happiness and sadness played on his face. His diary was a testament to fulfilled wishes, and the final one remained: "To save a life."

Attempting to call Guru, Ayush was met with a busy signal, knowing his lover was in the middle of a crucial interview. With time to spare and battling boredom, he decided to strike up a conversation with the statue of Lord Ganesha on his side seat.

Ayush (gazing at the idol): "Would you like to hear a joke? Once, a man was drowning in a river. He cried out, 'Oh Ganesha, please save me!' Lord Ganesha began dancing. The man, puzzled, asked, 'Why are You dancing?' To which Lord Ganesha replied, 'Didn't you dance when immersing me in water?'"

A chuckle escaped Ayush's lips, though there was no one there to share it with, save for the unresponsive deity beside him.

Ayush: "I probably shouldn't be cracking jokes about God in front of God, should I? My apologies, Don't mind, but I have no mind."

As he approached his destination, his car suddenly skidded due to a pothole on a sharp turn. Children were playing nearby, and Ayush swerved skillfully to avoid a disaster. To his surprise, the construction site manager responsible for this dangerous road was close at hand.

Kids: "Give my ball. Hurry up! Quick."

Ayush: "Are you kids okay? And you, sir! Aren't there enough potholes in the city that you've dug up another one? How could you allow this perilous pothole to persist for weeks? Today, Those kids and my God were saved. thanks to fortune and divine intervention, no lives were lost, but what about next time? Do you care at all?"

Construction Manager: "Rest assured, sir, you won't have any complaints from here on."

Ayush: "We'll see about that."

Upon arriving home, Ayush left a voice message for Guru.

Ayush: "Hi! I just wanted to send this message across that... I'm proud of you. I'm sure that whatever you do in life will be right for you. No matter how many obstacles you face... there won't be darkness anymore."

Shortly after, Guru returned the call.

Ayush: "Hello."

Guru: "Would you like to hear the bad news or the worst news first?"

Ayush: "Huh?"

Guru: "The bad news is that you'll have to live without me every day... between 9 to 5 from now on. And the worst news is that I won't be able to live without you every day between 9 to 5. I got the job, Ayush. I got the job. Now go and erase that wish from your diary. I've become independent."

Ayush: "Guru... there's something that I have to say to you."

Guru: "Tell me."

Ayush: "No, come home first."

Guru: "Tell me. I'm on my way home."

Ayush: "No, come home."

As they conversed, an unexpected noise erupted behind them. A man in a dark jacket and a chilling yellow smiley mask had entered their home uninvited.

Ayush: "Hello. How did you get in? What are you doing?"

Guru: "Who is..."

Ayush: "Does anyone barge into someone's house like that without ringing the bell? Get out of here. Get out!"

As Ayush spoke, the man struck him forcefully, causing Ayush's phone to fall from his hand, and Ayush himself tumbled to the ground. Guru was on the phone and became extremely alarmed when he heard Ayush's scream, fearing that the man had entered their home to harm them.

Guru (panicking): "Ayush, who is it? What's happening? Ayush! Ayush, who is it? Ayush, please answer me! Hey!"

Guru shouted Ayush's name repeatedly while Ayush fought to defend himself. The assailant had a screwdriver, and he inflicted a painful wound on Ayush's back, incapacitating him.

Ayush (cries out in pain): "Guru!"

Guru (hunted): "Stop! If you have a grudge, take it out on me. Spare him!"

Ayush (in agony): "Guru!"

Guru: "Hey, stop it! Let Ayush go!"

The attacker crushed the phone with his foot, then pushed bookshelves onto Ayush.

Ayush (agonized and frightened): "Please! Don't kill me. Please. Don't. Don't."

The assailant left without a word, taking a folded paper fan from the table, which he placed in his bag. Despite the excruciating pain, Ayush managed to free himself from beneath the bookshelves, his back bleeding profusely. Believing the attacker had left, he cautiously approached the window, but the man returned from behind and grabbed Ayush's pendant, pulling him toward the glass and shoving him with brutal force. The window shattered, sending Ayush crashing to the ground.
