Chapter 308 - Speak Of The Devil And They'll Be Here

Jeon Guanyu was the first one to get out. Then he went to the passenger side and pulled Ha Jillian off the car. Ha Jillian crossed over a shallow puddle on the side of the road and muttered in dissatisfaction from time to time.

Rosè looked at them indifferently. She slowly stood behind the window and looked at them. She saw Jillian's anxious expression. When Jeon Guanyu saw a nurse come out, he immediately asked her for something. The nurse pointed in Rosè's direction.

Rosè's face darkened when she saw that in Jeon Guanyu's hand, there was a basket of fruit and gifts. She quickly walked back to the elevator.

When she returned to Park Jimin's floor, she saw that Jiwon and the others had not yet arrived. Rosè walked back to the ward and slowly opened the door.

Park Jimin was sitting on the edge of the bed, with a needle in his hand, and though his face was still pale, he looked to be in much better spirits. Old Man Park was sitting beside the bed with a solemn expression, as if he was discussing something serious with him.

A solemn and serious expression that Rosè had never seen before.

Seeing this scene,? Rosè paused in front of the door.

Seeing that Rosè had returned, Park Jimin immediately looked at her and could see that she wanted to say something but was hesitant. He then smiled softly. "What's wrong?"

Old Man Park also turned to look at her. "Spoiled girl, I heard someone calling Jennie's name from outside. Is it Jennie?"

Rosè didn't know how to explain what was happening, so she could only say, "Jeon Guanyu and Ha Jillian are here."

Almost at the same time, the smile on Old Man Park's face faded. He looked at Park Jimin, who was still smiling faintly.

"Speak of the devil and they'll be here." Park Jimin said calmly, "Looks like they're here to scout out the situation."

Old Man Park nodded. "The perpetrator has been caught, but the mastermind is still fleeing. Even so, this person's statement is enough to ruin the Jeon Family. I'm afraid they want to take advantage of this situation and gain some leeway."

Park Jimin didn't say anything else because Jeon Rosè had already walked into the room. In the blink of an eye, Jeon Guanyu walked in with Ha Jillian, who was dressed in simple and unadorned clothes.

Indeed, Park Jimin had inherited Old Man Park's attitude. When the Old Man saw them enter, his original indifferent and serious expression turned into a polite smile. As if he didn't know anything, he laughed and said, "Why is Guanyu here?"

They both placed baskets of fruit and gifts on the small table. Jillian rubbed both of her hands. At first, she wanted to say something, but then she felt it wasn't good for her to speak first, so she looked at Jeon Guanyu.

Jeon Guanyu couldn't help but smile and said, "I heard that a few days ago, Jimin was seriously injured in a car accident. After all, he is Jillian's nephew and after she heard the news, she immediately asked me to accompany her and fly to Seoul on the same day."

Seeing that Park Jimin was still safe and sound, Jeon Guanyu clearly felt relieved, as if he had finally got a chance to live. He smiled at the Old Man and then looked at Park Jimin, who showed no change in expression. "Jimin, this is a supplement that Aunt Jillian bought for you on the way here, as well as some of the fruit you love to eat. Aunt Jillian is more interested in you than her daughter. Usually, no matter how much she spoils Soyeon, she will not be able to remember the fruits that she (Soyeon) likes to eat. However, when we were at the fruit shop today, she practically remembered all the fruit you loved when you were young."

Rosè had been silent the entire time and quietly peeling apples from the side. With a look in his eyes, Park Jimin signaled her to sit down beside him.

Rosè walked over with the apple and fruit knife in her hand. She sat by the side of the bed, smiling faintly at Jimin as she listened to the couple behind her.

"Yeah, everyone says that nephew is closer to aunt. These words are indeed true." Old Man Park stood up with a smile and held his cane. "Well, since you two come here to see Jimin , then I will leave first. You guys have a talk."

With that, the Old Man calmly walked to the door of the ward. Jeon Guanyu quickly said, "You didn't need to leave. After all, we are family here."

Although Jeon Guanyu said that, he didn't stop the Old Man.

Only after Old Man Park had left did Jillian finally step forward. She glanced at Park Jimin and then at Jeon Rosè , who was sitting on the edge of the bed and who was obviously too much of a hindrance to her eyes.

Jillian looked at Jimin and wanted him to invite Rosè out as well.

However, Jimin pretended not to understand her actions. He just smiled and glanced at Jillian . "Aunt Jillian eyes are not comfortable?"

Immediately, Jillian awkwardly lifted her hand to stroke her hair.

"That... Jimin, how is your mother these days?"

"My mother?" Park Jimin smiled faintly, and his beautiful eyebrows raised slightly. "She is in pretty good condition. She should go to the market with Nanny Cheng now."

"Oh, as long as she's in good shape, then it's fine. I'm worried she might feel worried because of your condition." Ha Jillian immediately laughed and her tone became more relaxed.

Park Jimin then laughed innocently, "It's not like you don't know my mother. Her heart is too big and even though she should be angry, she can still think about it more deeply. Furthermore, she never did anything shameful in her life. However, Aunt Jillian's face doesn't look too good. You probably haven't slept well in these few days, right?"

Park Jimin's innocent words made Jeon Rosè unable to hold back her laughter. Because her back was facing Jeon Guanyu and Ha Jillian , they didn't notice a change in her expression.

Rosè only smiled for a moment before hurriedly covered her mouth with her hand.

She raised her eyes to look at Jimin and saw that he was still calmly glancing at the couple with a smile that was not a smile.

It was unknown if Guanyu and Jillian heard the sarcasm in Park Jimin's words. Guanyu chuckled and changed the topic. "Jimin , it seems you are in good spirits now."

Jillian also agreed. "That's right. No matter what happens, you have to take care of yourself first!"

"It was just a small wound, I didn't expect Aunt Jillian and Uncle would come here to visit." As he spoke, Park Jimin's hand gently pressed Jeon Rosè's hand that was still peeling the apple. He looked at her and said softly, "Aren't your hands tired? Idiot, the most nutritious way to eat an apple is along with the skin."

Rosè 's mouth twitched as she whispered, "I'm afraid your stomach still can't accept hard food. After all, you haven't eaten in a few days."

Jimin just smiled and calmly took the apple in her hand, not letting her peel it anymore. After that, he looked at  Guanyu with a happy smile, "Uncle, have you been busy lately?"

Seeing that Park Jimin clearly didn't intend to change the topic, Guanyu hesitated for a moment. Then Jillian walked forward and said with a smile, "Jimin, we came to Seoul this time for two reasons. One is to see you. Two ... We know the father of the perpetrator, but don't worry, we aren't here to plead for them. In fact, the mastermind behind this is the son of a board member of our company. He is a good friend to Soyeon . That kid is too young and too hot-tempered. Perhaps it was because he's a good friend to Soyeon, so he took responsibility and did some outrageous things for her."

After saying this, Jillian took a banana and gave it to Rosè , "Rosè , you also look haggard recently. Don't just spend your time taking care of Jimin. You have to take care of your own body too. You're a mother now. Here, eat more fruits."
