The New Town

CHAPTER 1

The light shone bright down the street , a gloomy day had fallen apon the town of RoseVille although hearing the name we already start to think about how vibrant and lovely but it was the complete opposite. For many people  RoseVile was considered a dark town and a place for evil but Amber belived she could bring hope to her new home. Amber Evans had just moved from a big city into number 45 hogsgrove RoseVille.
Amber had never liked change she was not used to things not going her way , until her dads recent job loss it had  required the Evans to move into thier relatives house. Amber loved her aunt she was the older sister type of person , she would take to her about everything , she even opened up about the depression after her moms death which had been going on now for about 2 years.

Her aunts house

As i lift my hand to knock the door swung open revealing my aunt Jenna "Amber" she squeals and playfully grab me to enguffle me in a hug. "Oh my look at you you're all grown up" "You look just like your mom". Aunt Jenna stares in awe. For a moment i see my dad tearing up. Aunt Jenna welcomes us in and helps bring our bags inside and shows us to our rooms. Aunt Jenna said that i should have moms old bedroom. "It is gorgeous , i cannot belive mom did this" i say excitingly. "Yeah we made this our project , settle and get ready for dinner". Aunt Jenna says in a hurry. Once ive all settled, i take a moment to admire the beautiful artwork on the walls. I hop into a nice warm shower letting my thoughts take control.

Tommorow i start at Crestwood High , year 11 im nervous but excited i get a fresh start.

Once ive finished my shower i join everyone downstairs to set the table for dinner, my cousin Hartley who i haven't seen since we were 9 was shocked to see me , i almost broke his back from jumping him and hugging him , he was like my older brother.

We start to eat dinner and catch up on all the events that happened from the last time we saw each other. After dinner me and Hartley started cleaning up and had a bit of chat. "So are you ready for tommorow". He asks  "Kinda im just nervous , thats all i mean i don't have friends" "Oh dont worry my friends will love you" he says willingly. "Thank, im gonna head to bed, night hartley" "Nights ambs" he says quietly.
I head upstairs to my room and lay down peacefully finally wanting to rest , i close my eyes and drift to sleep.

The next morning

I woke to the sound of my alarm ringing in my ear its going to be a long day i think to myself. I start getting ready and head downstairs for breakfast , the smell of pancakes enters my nose and smells amazing.
"Morning hun" aunt Jenna greets me.
I sit at the table taking in the fresh aroma.
"You excited for school Amber" aunt Jenna exclaims. "Yes i am im really excited aunt Jen"
"Great you're gonna love  Crestwood i loved every second of it there". aunt Jenna says.
Dad and Hartley walks in and i grab my things and Hartley's we got into his car and drove to school.
Once we arrived at the front gate
i feel a lump in my throat i push that feeling down and walk towards the office where i met with the principle
and had a student show me around. "Hi im Henry" he says with a devilish smirk, "Amber" I smile and shake his hand.
Henry showed me around the school and even showed me the cool spots for our break periods.
The first siren of the day went off and Henry showed me to our class.
When we walked in I met our homeroom teacher Mr Richards , he asked if I was the new girl and i responded yes that me,
I introduced my self to the class. Everyone was shocked because RoseVille rarely gets any new students. Henry had patted the seat next to him indicating for me to sit there.
Once we all settled , sir had started with the lesson. The siren had gone meaning it was break , i grabbed all my belongs and walked out of the class to meet up with my cousin when Henry stops me and says I should sit with him and his friends , i say that i have to meet up with someone first and he could come with me if he wanted to. I see my cousin sitting by a table outside and walk over to him I told Henry that Hartley is my cousin , "Ah so shes the cousin were supposed to meet" Henry says as he chuckles. "So u talk about me only good thing i hope" Amber says as she smirks , Just then a girl comes up to Amber and introduces herself as Marionette,
She was beautiful.
"Amber" i say shaking her hand. I invited her to sit with us and we started chatting and In the corner of my eye i can see Henry starting at me.
"Take a picture Henry it will last longer"
Henry chuckles and smirks.
Hartley shouts at Henry "stop flirting with my cousin", i chuckled hard.
"He wishes sweet cousin" i say
The siren sounded being that it was time for the next period.
We all grabbed our things and went on our way.
Once we arrived at math class Henry had saved a seat for me. I sat down next to him.
We started to do our work and chatting.
As the day went on it was finally tome to leave , i grabbed all my things and walked out waiting for Hartley , Henry had popped up and asked me if i would like for him to walk me home ,  he smirks.
I agreed.
On our walk home we passed a gas station and we went in. I bought me Sour Patch Kids. Henry bought had bought him crisps and Hartley had bought himself a choc chip muffin.
We were all on our way home.
Once we arrived home we ate our snacks and had random talks. Henry had to leave so we wished him a safe trip back home and said goodnight all i could hear was Hartley mocking me behind the door "Oh Henry i wanna kiss u so bad" Your so disgusting I laughed and turned off the tv. Hartley followed me to my room and basically interrogated me he was asking questions like So when are h telling Henry that you like him and making fun of me but i told him to leave and chased him out of my room i shut the door and drifted off to sleep.
