I thought it might be easy if I would come out and say that yes I have had a few relationships. 4 to be exact. My first one was in 7th grade, he was my closest guy friend at the time; we had some common interests like music and reading. So for the three months our relationship lasted that's all we did, read together and listened to music.
The next one was at the beginning of freshman year at my old school. He was a soccer player and I was in cross country so we ran together... all the time. Don't get me wrong, exercise is great but when all I did was run for school, there were times I wanted to just relax and sometimes go out on dates: all he wanted to do was hang out with his friends and spread rumors on what we didn't do (sexually, of course). Jarod and I lasted the first semester of my freshman year. After him was Jake, he was 4 years older and he had classes with my oldest brother. (Gene was in more advanced classes while Jake wasn't all that bright). We dated for the second semester of freshman year to the end of summer. He decided to end it because "I" didn't have enough time for him. Then the last boyfriend and I were in the same grade and he played baseball. I though he was incredibly attractive and smart. He was also very shy and quiet. All my others friends hit on him or tried to sleep with him but he chose me. We were always on the go together. We ran and road bikes on off road trails, played baseball and softball together, went out on dates. It was almost too good to be true, until he got a summer job and started sleeping with one of his coworkers. We lasted from the beginning of sophomore year until July when I found out about his coworker. Shortly after that I decided I wasn't going to date until after high school, plus it didn't help that I found out we were moving to Pennsylvania shortly after. I don't know if I should feel hopeful or just not even look for love anymore.
