I woke up per usual today, I wanted to go down to a nearby café, Axel looked dead asleep, so I decided to leave by myself I didn't know what I really wanted to do today.
I entered the café and ordered my favorite drink and sat down. I scrolled through my phone when I got a text from Axel. "Where are you? Are you OK?' He asked. I replied,'I'm at the café, I didn't wanna wake you so I went alone,' you texted he sent an "ok" and you continued and cot your favorite dessert, payed and left
You got home, Axel was watching TV some sort of fighting show (insert whatever show if you want) you smiles and went to the kitchen and cleaned the dishes that were in the sink
After you were done with the dishes, you sat down with him, cuddled up with him again, and scrolled through your phone. " What do you want to do today? I have nothing in mind" he said. You shrugged, not really knowing either. He got to go take a shower. You sat there, thinking of what you should do
'Maybe we could have a few drinks tonight,' you thought. You knocked on the bathroom door, letting him know you're gonna go buy some stuff for the might he says OK and you go to the convenience store that strangely had alcohol. You picked out a couple of bottles.
You got home around 7 pm after going grocery shopping too. You walk in through the door, and you see Axel in just sweat pants you blush and go to put the bottles in the fridge leaving only one of them out.
Axel grabs the bottle and pours to glasses and hands you one, you take it and you both sit on the couch enjoying each other's company, Axel goes and gets another drink "do you want another?" He asks you say no because your alcohol tolerance isint that good. But then he starts going back for more. You get slightly worried and he ends up very tipsy. You walk over to him "I think you should stop your gonna be drunk" you say "no im fine im notf thaaa tipsyyy(I'm not that tipsy)" he says "Alex please slow down I don't want you getting sick" you say " NO I'm fine immm gonna beh okeh (I'm gonna be ok)" he says "Axel I'm serious you need to stop your gonna be sick and I can't take care of you all day tomorrow" you can see him getting angry, then he slams his hand down on the table and yells " DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO I STOP WHEN I WANT" he yells you flinch he sees that and looks at you with regretting eyes " h-hey im sorry I didn't mean-" he tries to tuch your shoulder but you flinch and back away.
You ran and locked yourself in the spare room he tries to talk to you and open the door but it was no use you were under the covers of the bed, shivering and silently sobbing
~time skip~
It was the next morning you woke up with a head ache and swollen wyes and messy hair. You looked like a train wreck. You come out of the room to see Axel sleeping on the couch you remember last night still fearing he might be mad you quietly grab a glass of water when you hear foot steps coming towards you you flinch as he approaches you you try to run back to the room but he grabs you by th waist you look at him scared " im so sorry please don't be scared" he says you still trembling
Flash back
"Mommy please don't go im scared of daddy" you say " it's on sweetheart I'm not gonna be gone for long" she says. That was the last time you ever saw her, you lived with your abusive father.
"Daddy please can I go to my friends house?" He looks at you angry and slams his hand against the wall " NO YOU LIVE WITH ME I KNOW IF YOU LEAVE YOULL NEVER COME BACK JUST LIKE YOUR DAMN MOTHER" he said you start to cry and shake.
It was your 18th birthday and you decided this was the day you needed to escape this he'll hole so you left at evening when your father was passed out drunk. You didn't bother packing clothes thinking maybe you'll just get a job and buy dome new ones while you stay at a fiends house that's when you ran into him
End of flash back
You start to cry into his chest saying sorry not knowing what you were apologizing for he tells you you never have to be sorry cause you haven't done anything wrong " I need to tell you something axel" you say "ok" he replys
"When I was 6 my mother said she was going for a bit but she never came back she left me with my abusive father who had a serious drinking problem. I grew up with it and I ended up believing that my mother left because of me he would le me know that too. Every night he would come to my room and check what I was doing and if he didn't like what I was doing he would beat me once night on my 18th birthday I left and that's when I found you" you told him your story, he started crying and you wipe his tears " I can't believe you went through that and to think I reminded you of him im awful" he says "no you don't remind me of him you just got carried away and I know it's probably dealing with your own battle and I'll let you tell me when your ready" you say he smiles softly he decides he wants to take you on a date that day to make things a little less tense
You go on the date and you didn't expect what he would tell you
