2 Year Later
"I'm pregnant." I mumbled out... worried he wouldn't be excited. His eyes softened and all he did was pull me in for a hug.
His warmth was comforting and his voice was low, "I'm going to be a father." He was happy and I was happy too. I was finally building the family I was so sure I was ready for, I was going to have a little trouble maker of my own running around the house and giggling. My heart was now full and all I could do was smile, snuggling into Amanie's arm, ring on finger while rubbing my small belly that didn't even have a bump yet.
It was quiet, both in my head and our atmosphere and that made me calmer. I thought back to how badly my mom wanted grandchildren and how it's absolutely okay to have this child, she is still getting that baby even when she is in heaven.
Maybe it was the moment or maybe I was a huge softy but I began crying, entirely out of happiness.
We finally got to the good part of life.
