Dixie immediately dialed Noah, pacing back and forth anxiously, knowing he had a busy day ahead. Finally, he picked up.

**Noah:** "Hey babe, I just finished working out. What's up?"

**Dixie:** "I need your help."

**Noah:** "Of course. With what?"

**Dixie:** "I just talked to Bella, and I need you to drive to my house and let her inside while I stall Charli."

**Noah:** "Got it. Is this like a 'reuniting them' thing? I'm nosy."

**Dixie:** "Yeah, it is. I just got off the phone with her. She's apologizing. Honestly, she doesn't even have to. I know what happened, and it's totally justifiable considering what her family's been through. But my heart melts for Charli... Bella is so sweet."

**Noah:** "Aww, you're being sappy, Dix?"

**Dixie:** "Yes! She's my sister, and I want them to date already."

**Noah:** "They'd be perfect together. Alright, I'll drive to your place now. I'll update you."

**Dixie:** "Thank you."

**Noah:** "Of course. Love you, bye."

**Dixie:** "Love you, bye."

Dixie hung up and rejoined her parents and Charli in the conference room.

**Dixie:** "Alright, I'm back. What did I miss?"

Charli was on her phone at this point.

**Marc:** "Not much. Your sister jumped on her phone, and so did your mom."

**Dixie:** "That's great."

**Marc:** "Yup. So, I'll let you guys know what Hulu says. And Dixie, be consistent in the studio, please. Charli, don't forget auditions are coming up, and you've got an appearance at that dance studio."

**Charli:** "Oh, right. I forgot about that. When is it again, Dad?"

**Marc:** "End of the week, hun."

**Charli:** "Alright."

**Marc:** "Well, you guys are free to go, I guess. That was it."

**Charli:** "Cool. You going home, Dixie?"

**Dixie:** "Uhhh, no. I was gonna grab a bite to eat and go shopping. You wanna come?"

**Charli:** "I don't know, I'm kinda tired. I was just gonna get a ride with you if you were going home."

**Dixie:** "Please, I don't want to go alone. Noah bailed because he's busy working, and I have to go shopping for Kate's birthday when I see her."

**Heidi:** "I think you should go with your sister, Charli. It'll be good bonding time, and besides, you don't get out much. You're very much a homebody, Char."

**Marc:** "That's true. Just make Dixie buy you something—win-win situation."

**Charli:** "Good idea, Dad. Okay, if I go, Dixie, you're buying me lunch."

**Dixie:** "Fine."

**Charli:** "And coffee."

**Dixie:** "Really?"

**Charli:** "Am I going or not?"

**Dixie:** "Thanks, Dad... Yes, fine. I'll buy you food and coffee, Charli. So, are you coming with me?"
