We soon got to his house, where he climbed two more stories, all the way up to what looked like his room. I have no idea how he did it but I was holding tightly to him as he climbed with only one hand, while holding me tightly with the other.
With one swift movement we entered his bedroom. I was in awe at the beautiful homemade looking decorations and the beautiful drawings on the walls, they were just drawn on there. This room felt like an art museum crammed onto 4 walls.
"As if I would know what an art museum holds...", I said softly under my breath, with a volume unhearable for anyone.
"Really?!! You've never been to an art museum before?!!", said the boy, turning around with a shocked expression on his beautiful face. He has been scrummaging through his wardrobe since we got into his room but now he seemed so shocked. He walked up to me and while looking deep into my eyes, he smiled and hugged me, resting his head on mine and whispered softly into my ear...
"Guess I'll take you to one huh?!"
I couldn't help but smile, this was the first time i smiled, it felt weird but weirdly pleasing.
The boy picked up the pile of clothing he dropped and held it out to me.
"I never caught your name." he said with a grin on his face.
"Name?" I said softly, as if scared I'll disturb someone.
"Yeah? It's the name you're given at birth by your parents, it's what people call you..." the boy opposite me said, his expression turning to concern.
"I never got given one I guess..." I said, not wanting to upset the boy any further, I dreaded his sad expression, I hated myself for cousin that to happen.
"Well I'm Milo, and to be fair, you look like you would be called Asher.. Is it ok if I call you that?" the boy asked with a curious expression painted on his face.
"Oh yeah ofcourse, thank you so much Milo, I'm Arthur." I said with an obvious smile on my face.
Milo giggled and hugged me again then threw me onto his bed and started taking my shirt off. He then grabbed the shirt from the pile on the floor and put it on me.
"Wait, I feel like you should take a shower before that." he said, chucking the t-shirt back on the floor. He then pulled out two pairs of underwear and another set of clothes plus a towel and picked them all up. Milo then grabbed my hand and led me to a landing. There were stairs leading down to the second floor of the house. He then walked me to the front of a door, he opened the door and walked in. He dropped the pile of clothes on the toilet seat and hung the towels on a hook. He then locked the door which made me flinch.
"I can leave it unlocked if you want but I promise I won't do anything to you that you're uncomfortable with, I simply locked it so no one will see us undressed in case they walked in by accident"
"Yeah it's ok, sorry it's just bad memories" I giggled, but deep down it hurt remembering.
