Victor led the group further into the large warehouse and to a grey door that they soon found out was a staircase. Victor opened the door for all to enter and they began heading up the staircase to second floor of the building. He then pushed open another door, revealing a crowded hallway of agents and such walking back and forth, undoubtedly busy and possibly carrying out tasks. Victor led them all down the hall and into a room with various working desks and boxes filled with cases. Few agents were sat at desks around the room. Victor led them over to a desk sat with one of the agents. The young woman turned in her chair, facing Victor, and waiting patiently for him to need her assistance.
"So, as we know, there is a war upon us," Victor started but Davina stopped him.
"Wait, a second. I didn't know about this." Davina said, looking in between the beasts.
"You mean you didn't tell her when the two of you were on that little mission to find out more about Davina's past?" Charlie asked Dean with a puzzled look across his face.
"No, I didn't." Dean said, making Davina narrow his eyes at him.
"Probably because you were too busy fucking." Charlie muttered though it wasn't quiet, making Davina reach her hand out and smack his chest. He winced in pain as Davina rolled her eyes, turning back to Victor, the look on his face telling her that he hadn't heard it. Aaron leaned down to whisper some teasing remark into Davina's ear. Having read his mind without realizing it, she reached her hand out and smacked him as well. Aaron winced and immediately backed away from his sister.
"Vincent keeps using our resources. I guarantee if we use a company device he can track it and figure out what exactly we're doing. Really, any of our devices aren't safe to use anymore considering it can all be hacked. Which is why from now on any device that gets used between beasts within your compound and people within our company, needs to be old school devices." Victor said as he turned to the agent. She pulled out a box from underneath her desk and lifted it up for Victor to see. As Victor pulled contents out of the box, the agents eyes drifted over to the beasts out of curiosity. Dean's focus was on Victor, but Jackson quickly noticed her. One glare from him made her quick to turn her head over to Charlie. He had a smirk across his face, having noticed that she was staring at them. He gave her a smirk before winking at her, Her cheeks flushed as she spun in her chair, turning her attention back over to Victor. Charlie chuckled. Victor turned back to the others with flip phones in his hands, making Charlie's chuckling turn into a quiet groan.
"These are what we'll use to communicate. They won't think to tracks us on these." Victor said as he passed around the phones.
"What the hell are they?" Elliot asked curiously as he examined the device.
"They're what people used in the early 2000s. Can't do much but call or text on them." Aaron said, making Aaron's face turn sour. He wasn't sure what to do with it in the slightest.
"Don't look so gloomy, kid. We were alive in these times and we had to use them. We'll probably only use these for the next few months." Charlie spoke.
"So, you're saying that this will all be over in a few months? That we'll win the war?" Aaron asked.
"No, I'm saying we're all going to be sick of them in the next few months and go back to our own devices. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'll risk being found if it means I get to have Twitter back." Charlie replied.
"You had something to show us, Victor?" Jackson spoke up, ready for Victor to get it all over with.
"Yes, I believe I did." Victor said as he turned, not waiting for the others to follow.
"I had our team create something for each of you to use in case of any danger. I understand that most of us here can defend ourselves," Victor said, his eyes drifting over to Elliot. He scratched the back of his head, avoiding his Uncle's gaze, knowing he was the only one who couldn't defend himself. "But, if it is true that Vincent is aware of what else is out there, I can only assume he's trying to get his hands on it." Victor said before Dean cut him off.
