His Silent Eyes

Why Him

Jo left his company in hurry as his father said he had something important to discuss. When he reaches their home -yes the family lives together because his father says he can only move out once he is married- he instantly went to his father's home office. Upon seeing his son Mr.Asakura smiled and told Jo to sit. Mr.Asakura was a really straight forward person so he immediately came to the point.

"JoJo you know you have to marry now right? I found you someone who will fill up that hole in your heart." He said pointing at Jo's chest.
"..." Jo didn't said anything and his father taking this as his sign to continue spoke again,
"It's a man you are going to marry as it's your own wish." Jo just nodded at that and then asked about that man.
"Uhhmm... He is... Uh you know-"
"He is who, Oton?" Jo said now getting impatient with his father.
"He is Nakakita Yuma, yes the one you are thinking about." Upon hearing that Jo was sent into utter shock.

'Why it has to be him, anyone aside but him.' Jo thought.

"-re you listening? Jo?" His father's voice brings him back to reality from his dazed state.
"Uh? Oton of all people why him?"
"I don't know he just fits the role perfectly." Is all his father said and goes back to do his work.

Jo stood up to leave then his father called him,
"We are gonna have a dinner with Nakakita family on the next weekend, be prepared."
"Okay." He said in a monotonous voice and left.

He was having a crisis so he wanted to take a walk. He quickly went to his room and took a short shower as he was going outside we wore a half-white sweater and jeans. As he was walking he saw a kitten laying in street, he approached the kitten to see it injured so he immediately took kitten into his hands carefully and speed walked towards a nearby veteran.

The veteran treated kitten's wounds and Jo took the cat with him to his house. When he reached his home, his father was no where to be seen. He just laid the kitten into a cat bed -he had a cat back then but his cat died two months ago which was very sad moment for him- and got some food for kitten. He poured the food into a bowl and placed it in front of kitten, the cat began to eat and Jo started to slowly stroke the kitten's head.

After a while the kitten fell asleep and Jo decide to sleep as well. He freshened up and went towards his bed in his pajama. The earlier conversation with his father came to his mind, striking like a sudden flash. He turned and twisted in his bed trying to forget it.

After a while of struggling he managed to sleep with his head full with only one person NAKAKITA YUMA.
