Dumb feelings (VantaYu // NIJIKRISIS)

Mission 1: First Impressions

Chapter 1... 

Vantacrow Bringer, the ace and "tank of the team. Previously known as a tyrant. Once a man of the night..and day, saving people without being asked, he never got rewarded for his heroism.. Until one day, upon reading the recruitment letter sent by A.S.H.. He joins them. 

Vantacrow arrives to the A.S.H. headquarters and is shown to his partner, Vezalius Bandage. They introduce themselves. "Hello, I am Vezalius Bandage. Nice to meet you" Vantacrow makes eye contact with Vezalius and says "Hey, I'm Vantacrow Bringer, but you can call me Vanta for short." Vezalius smiles, "and you can call me Zali, welcome Vanta. Do you need help bringing in your stuff?" Vanta smiles "I mean, if you aren't busy I wouldn't mind the help. Please?" Zali smiles and says "Of course, I'll have to put on my shoes, give me a moment" Vanta chuckles and walks to the vehicle he came in "Oh, if something is heavy, I could help. I'm pretty strong *he flexes* and Zali laughs lightly "okay, I'll keep that in mind." After they were done unloading Vanta's boxes they go downstairs, Zali speaks up "What would you like for dinner? Or do you have something planned?" Vanta is walking closely behind Zali and says "Oh, I can run to the grocer real quick. I would like a home cooked meal, it's been a few days of traveling and eating unhealthy food. It's okay, I'll cook the meal" Zali looks at Vanta and smiles "Okay, that sounds nice. In that case, I think I'll do some paper work and potions." Vanta walks to the door "alright, sounds cool. I'll be back.. oh ! Are you allergic to anything?" Zali looks at Vanta and thinks for a second before saying "No, I'm not but I don't like eggplants" Vanta grabs his wallet and walks out "'kay, I'll be back soon." 

Vanta is at the grocer and is choosing what to cook, he is holding two things thinking "So... If i make something with chicken.. I'll naturally need slightly salty seasoning.. but this.. it has more flavour. I'll just see which is cheaper, yeah"  he looks down "oh no... they are the same price.. I'll just get both then, maybe I can ask Zali which one he'd like.." Vanta puts the ingredients in his hand basket and walks down the isle to his next ingredients "now onto vegetables.. broccoli is always pretty good. But asparagus is the best with chicken meals, especially with this seasoning. Yeah, I'll just get asparagus and I think that'll be it. And I'll make Jasmine rice as the other side." Vanta walks to the cashier and gets his items and goes back to his new home. He walks in and sees Zali on the dinner table "hey, Zali !" Zali looks up "oh, hi Vanta. Did you find your way to the grocer ?" Vanta opens his mouth to speaks as he puts the bag down "Yeah, i actually wanted to ask you something.." Vanta looks in the bag and grabs two small bottles with blended herbs and spices in both "yes Vanta?" Zali says as he lifts his eyebrow confused and Vanta spoke again as he walked to Zali "So, i was conflicted between these two spices, which one do you think would be better for this meal? it's going on the chicken, I have another spice but that's for the asparagus" Zali grabbed the bottles and inspected them "hmm... you have good choices, this is hard, huh?.. mmmm... Maybe this one, It has more flavour and it just makes sense" Vanta looks at it and smiles and walks back to the kitchen and starts his meal. 

An hour passes by and Vanta walks to the dining able and sets 2 plates down "Here you go. I made baked asparagus, chicken, and Jasmine rice on the side with some eggs and veggies" Zali moved his papers aside and looks at the food shocked "wow ! Vanta. This looks amazing !" Vanta blushes lightly "Thanks, I like cooking. It's nice to know what goes in my meals and I like seeing the process" Vanta sits down and they start to eat in a comfortable silence. After finished eating they clean their areas and head to sleep. Vanta was the last to go up because he had a bigger mess. Wiping the table he sees a paper that reads...

Vezalius Bandage is the medic of the group. He is a healer that would use himself for experimental uses to find his potions. His story goes that he lived in a village with a long history of medical practices. But one night him and his sister were watching the stars and they seen what they thought was a meteor shower. it was not, the meteor shower was actually crystalline monsters that had wiped most of his village, his sister was infected with a crystal curse. He searched for a cure, infecting himself in hopes to find the cure. He found his cure and went on a long journey to find it, but when he returned, his sister had passed. Out of rage, he defeated all the crystalline monsters. He was alone until A.S.H. found him, they were impressed with his abilities and recruited Vezalius.
