I was so excited to get this position. Compared to all my other jobs it pays so well. About a week ago I got hired at WWE as a hair stylist and makeup artist. I never got jobs that payed very well and I didn't have a family to rely on cuz I left them a long time ago. I say long but I think it's been 7 years. My parents deemed me as a disappointment and I got kicked out, I was 17 nearing 18 then so it wasn't that big of a deal. Ever since then I've just done odd jobs to pay for an apartment and schooling for Cosmetology.
Now I want to go back to why I was excited, because now I'm god damn terrified. The entire thought had left my mind when I even put myself up for the job. My older brother works for WWE as a wrestler. I haven't seen him in years and well I never tried to keep in touch. I know he's going to have some kind of grudge. He's always loved our parents and they've always been proud of him. I'm proud of him too. It's not like he's a bad brother he was amazing and always protected me, but I did say some words to my parents when they kicked me out so they definitely had some ways to twist it to him to make it sound worse.
Right now I'm sat in my car debating to walk in the building or not. I'm getting a small tour and a run down on how things will work at WWE. I tapped my steering wheel with my fingers and took a few deep breaths before I got out of my car grabbing my shoulder bag.
I made my way to the stadium walking up the steps and opening the doors the the lobby. I walked in making my way to the room where my interview was held. I was greeted by the man who hired me, though I couldn't remember his name. "Ah. Ally I'm glad you could make it." He smiled at me as he shook my hand.
"Of course, I'm so thankful for this opportunity." I said returning his smile.
"We are glad to have you. Now, if you'll follow me I can give you a tour." He said before walking out of the room, me following after.
The tour was short and simple. He didn't show me the entire building just the general area I worked in and most of the places I would need to go. I did learn that if I wanted to I could go out and watch a few wrestling matches if I had the time to do so. My work station is just a row of vanitys we had equipment for cutting hair and basically anything I needed for styling hair. The studio was stunning it was decorated by all the other stylists. Tomorrow us going to be my first real day but before that happens I get to draw.
I had to practically had to wake up at the ass crack of dawn. I had to force myself out of bed and into the shower and I've been freezing all morning. When I got out of the shower I looked at myself in the mirror and the bags under my eyes were horrendous.
I was now walking into the building hugging my body shivering while making my way to the studio. There were already a few wrestlers walking the hall and I probably got looks from all of them which I ignored. I successfully made it to the studio without getting lost. "Oh hey! They said we were getting a new artist. I'm Trish it's nice to meet you." A nice blond woman said greeting me with a hand shake.
"Hi it's nice to meet you too, I'm Ally." I smiled shaking her hand.
"Oh dang girl girl your hands are freezing!" She exclaimed rubbing her hands together in exaggeration making me laugh.
"Oh yeah sorry I've been freezing all morning." I explained with a smile.
"It's alright." She said before going back to what she was doing. "Oh right. You can set up in this station here. Oh and you can put your stuff over in this corner." She said pointing to a back corner next to an organizer. Their are two other makeup artists Corey and Ella, but Ella is out sick today so I'll meet her next week. Corey is a nice guy he's got some brown fluffy hair and dresses in a nice style. Trish looks like one of the girls I would have avoided in high school but she doesn't have the personality of them so that was definitely a first for me. Corey likes to tease people which I adored becuase I love to make fun of people, especially my friends. Trish liked to joke a lot and was all about the tea and drama definitely but in a respectable way.
