Roses Part 1

Conan POV

I can't wait to surprise Liv, I've been on tour and I told her I'd come back in a week because I will be resting but I just finished the last concert and am flying back to LA to surprise her.

The plane has 3 more hours until touch down, then I will take a Uber straight to her house and give her a bouquet of purple roses.

I just decide to fall asleep to pass time.

I hear the plane's tires against the ground, I lift up my eye mask and look outside, surely enough I see the track with the yellow and orange lights, it's just around 8:00 so it's not too dark outside.

Everyone stumbles and grabs their bags and I open my over head compartment and grab my suitcase and rush out of the plane to the Uber waiting for me, I get through the security and see my Uber.

"Hello I am your uber for tonight what is your destination?" The man asks 

"Liv's house- sorry I mean (Olivia's house)" I say putting my suitcase in the seat next to me

"Ok that will be a 30 minute drive" he says 

"I am assuming she is your Girlfriend" he ask driving out of car park 

"Nah she's just my friend" I assure 

"I'm sorry" he says apologetically 

"It's ok" I say 

"What brings you LA?" He asks genuinely 

"I have an apartment here and as you know I'm visiting a friend" I say looking at the pictures of me and Liv on my phone.

"So did you take a trip somewhere?" He ask stopping at a red light

"Yes kind of, I was on tour" I say trying not to sound like a pick me 

"Oh wait you're not Conan Gray are you?!" He says raising his voice 

"That's me" I say in my high squeaky voice 

"Really?! My daughter is such a big fan, I actually have your album in here could you please sign it for her?" He ask politely not trying to intrude me 

"Yes I'd love to" I say then he hands me the Kid Krow album 

"What's your daughters name?" I ask writing my signature 

"Her name is Ally" he says turning a corner 

This is what I write

I hand the CD back to my Uber.

"Thank you so so much this will make her year" he says in a happy voice 

"Oh I believe this is you're stop to Ms Rodrigo I'm sorry it's a little late, it's 9:00 I'm sorry it's just traffic was bad" he says turning another corner 

"Wait how do you know her last name?" I ask confused 

"My daughter always talks about how you guys are such cool friends" he says chuckling 

"Anyways this is where the car ride comes to an end, I hope you surprise her" he says leaning over the chair 

"Thank you so much for driving me this late and tell Ally that I said goodnight" I say grabbing my luggage smiling 

I'm so nervous, I wonder if Liv will be happy to see me, is she mad at me for not taking her on tour with me? Will she be ok if I came early or will it ruin a plan she has, does she still want to be my friend? All these thoughts filled my head as I walked up the steps to her house.

I'm wearing a striped button up with brown flannel pants it's her favourite outfit of mine.

(Ok tho he looks so cute in this, the way it's a bit unbuttoned like ughhh he is so fineeeeee anyways back to the story) 

I have my roses behind my back to give to Liv they are her favourite, I also got them died purple just for her, I take a deep breath and ring the door bell, I hear someone coming down the stairs, I see Liv's outline through the frosted glass, I have such a big smile on my face.

I then hear Liv unlocking the door and see her with a towel covering her body and marks on her neck, then Joshua Basset comes behind her with just his jocks on, I thought she broke up with him! He literally cheated on her.

"Oh hey Conan" she says trying to cover up what she was doing before 

"I'm sorry this might not be a great time, maybe come by tomorrow?" She says trying to leave 

"Olive who is this guy?!" Ask Joshua clearly annoyed he also called Liv Olive and only I out of all the people she knows calls her that

"He's just a friend" she says dismissing him 

"I'll just go bye Olivia hope I surprised you" I say and as soon as I finish the sentence I just see Joshua kissing her and shutting the door, well such an effort to surprise her.

I throw the flowers on the ground and grab my suitcase and bag and walk to the nearest bus stop which was half an hour away.

I look at the next bus that is going to come and it says 9:45 which is half an hour great I think to myself and sigh we'll this is a shitty first day back.

I hop in, it's empty I get back to my house and it's already 10:15, I can't be bothered to unpack my suitcase so I just take off my button up and pants and just put on a singlet and shorts, and try and fall asleep.
