"Chro rass somebody cah lock off e alarm" I groaned as i reached for my phone to turn off the alarm.
"My girl a your phone aguh suh" my cousin said.
I hissed my teeth, when i finally reached the phone i turned off the alarm and checked the time
5:45
Time early but mi affi start get ready fi work cause a problem fi get drive weh mi deh as a country gyal.
"A wa time you fi reach a work" sasha asked.
"11" I said
"My girl you have time" she said as she hissed her teeth.
"Ye but mi did a pree fi wash some a mi clothes dem before mi guh a work" I said to her as I got out of the bed. I went outside and gathered the bath pan, wash soap and the was brush and start wash mi clothes dem.
8 oclock
"Jesús Christ thank god mi done wash mi pussyclat" I said as i carried in the wash pan and the rest of the stuff I used.
"Aye gyal a badword uh just cuss" my grandmother asked
"No a nava mi" I said
"Eeeeh come here" my grandmother said.
I walked over to her, she playfully slapped me
"Nuh cuss nuh badword inna mi house, uh feel yaw big woman"
"Mammy mah 19 wah uh mean if mi a big woman" I said while laughing.
"Yaw still pickney" mammy said
"Alrite anything u seh" I said as i walk to my room..
Ring Ring
My phone was Ringing, It was my sister. I quickly answered my phone.
"Batty gyal" my sister Ashley screamed into the phone.
"Yes, cause Mi tek one a uh gyal dem" i said.
We both started laughing
"Uh nah come a work miss?" Ashley asked
"Ye, mah guh mek breakfast and then get ready" I said.
"Girl yaw eat breakfast and uh work inna kitchen n uh can get food a work fi free and nyam all u want, joke think uh deh pon" Ashley said.
"Miss wa if mi dead before mi reach a work eee? And hungry guh deh pon mi file, mi ago nyam sumn yaw" I said as i walked in to the kitchen.
"Ahh then memba seh 11 pon e dot uh fi reach and remember uh white T-shirt" Ashley said.
"Ye" I said
"Ahhh Later" Ashley said
"Ah mi fada" I said.
My sister got me a job as a Server, after I quit my job at the call center. I was happy for this opportunity because I was broke and really needed a job.
"Wa mi fi mek now?" I said while standing in front the fridge.
"Chro, mah go fry egg n plantain yaw man n uno eat it wid bread and mek tea, mi lazy rn" I said as I hissed my teeth.
30 minutes
After I finished making breakfast and eating, I walked back to my bedroom.
"My girl mi nah wash no plate eno" I said to my cousin as I started looking clothes for work.
