"I don't think that's right..." Jennie trailed off as you both tilted your heads at how you had tangled up the piece of string around her fingers. You hummed as she held her hands out and you tried to move a piece over her pinky. "Yeah...Something is wrong here." You agreed as you two sat in the car by the side of the road that was empty. The two of you were killing time by trying to do string tricks. "You have really small hands." You pointed out, engrossed in the red string you kept moving around to try and make a star. "Compared to yours, yeah." She agreed, watching your slender fingers nimbly move the string around and only tangle them up even more.

The few snowflakes gently fell around the car and on it, slowly making a small layer gather on the car. It was only 9 am and the morning had been nothing but peaceful like it always was because it was a small town with around 6 thousand residents and nothing ever really happened.

"How do you hold a gun?" You questioned and glanced up at her, she rolled her eyes and tried to move her fingers but to no avail.

"The same way you do–I think my fingers are going numb." She wiggled her fingers, feeling them tingle from the lack of blood as you had only managed to make the string tighter. You sighed in defeat and leaned back in the seat, reaching for the tactical knife attached to your belt. "Oh uh, don't cut off my fingers now." Jennie worriedly let out as you opened the knife. "Now I definitely will because of the pressure put on me." She giggled and stretched out her tangled-up hands to you. Carefully to not hurt her you grabbed hold of her wrist to hold her in place before cutting through the red string, letting her separate her hands from each other.

"Alright–" You were interrupted by the radio, the static sound coming together with that familiar voice. Jennie busied herself with quickly removing the rest of the red string while you picked up the microphone. "Central to 3 Adam 5, we have a call from Willowstree 88...I think you could take it." She called in for you and you heaved a sigh.

"Yes, I can Jisoo...I expect lunch from Bob's for this later."

"Have you been doing your cardio?" She questioned from her end while you nodded at Jennie who started the patrol car and started the drive to the address given. "Yes I have, wanna race and lose? Loser buys breakfast tomorrow." You offered as you knew that you would win because you were in excellent shape. It went silent for a few seconds before the static came back.

"It's a deal." She agreed.

"Great, we're here." Jennie noticed the forced enthusiasm in your tone as you two reached the villa after a ten-minute drive. She was about to open the door and head out, but you grabbed hold of her forearm and stopped her. The woman younger by three years stopped and looked at you. "Ok, rookie Officer Kim–" You started and she thought it would be very serious if you called her Officer Kim. Jennie was still getting the hang of it all as she started working about three months ago and was under your supervision and guidance.

"Whatever happens, happens...There's no need to uhm– worry or get in between. Just let me handle this one." She looked. You scratched the top of your head, your explanation causing her confusion, but she had accepted that you were odd at times. Although one thing Jennie knew and heard was that you were a great police officer, a lieutenant at that and that you knew what you were doing. With that she nodded, trusting you as she had no clue why you and she were even here to begin with as Jisoo never said more than the address. She assumed that it was an address you had been to many times before for the same reason.
