Atsushi's Secret ‼️

Chapter Two - Main Story

5:00am
Atsushi was fast asleep, until he was woken up by a loud ringing, his alarm for work. He groaned as he slowly rose up from his bed, he opened the closet door and gently rubbed his eyes, letting them adjust to the light pouring in front the windows. He looked over to see that kyoka was already gone.

Probably making breakfast. he thought to himself.

He slowly got up and walked to the bathroom. Soon enough, he splashed his face with cold water to wake himself up. Next, he walked out to the kitchen to see that kyoka had left him a plate of food and a note saying: sorry I'm not here right now, I had an early mission for today, I'll see you back at the agency.

She had a mission? Huh, wonder why she didn't tell me.  He said to himself, before sitting down and stuffing his face with the delicious food kyoka made for him.

Afterwards, Atsushi got up and did his usual morning routine; brush his teeth, do his skin care, fix his hair and get dressed. It was 5:55am once he was finished with his routine.

Sh¡t! I'm gonna be late. I spent too long eating, kunikida is gonna kill me!

He grabbed his keys and bolted out the door and to the agency, after locking the door ofcourse. As soon as he got to the agency building, he sprinted upstairs and kept running until he reached the door. He took a deep breath, even though he was still trying to catch his breath after running from his house to the agency. He opened the door and started saying good morning until he got cut off by an angry blonde.

"WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU, BRAT?!" Kunikida screamed at him, raging that Atsushi was a solid 2 minutes late.

"Sorry kunikida-san, I didn't realise the time. But I ran here as fast as I could" Atsushi replied, still out of breath.

(Blah blah I'm lazy, just pretend Kunikida and Atsushi had a whole ass convo and now Atsushi is starting his work lol)

Atsushi's POV
After receiving a whole lecture on why I shouldn't be 2 minutes later to work, I finally sat down at my desk to start my paperwork, after catching my breath back obviously. I can't wait to be finished this job for the day so I can go visit dad, and ryu~ (Atsushi and Akutagawa are dating btw!!)

3rd Person POV:
After an hour or two, Dazai walked through the door and walked to his desk, after receiving a long lecture and yelling at by Kunikida. Dazai sat down beside Atsushi (since they sit next to eachother) and started pestering poor Atsushi.

Dazai's POV:
"Ooooh Atsushi-kunn~~~" I teased.
I was planning on making him do my paperwork, I mean- that's what I do, right?
"Do you think you could do these papers for your amazing mentor~?" I continued.

Atsushi's POV:
I sighed and agreed, anything to shut this suicidal maniac up, he's been getting on my nerves lately and I've had enough of him, but I can't show any annoyance or I'll blow my cover. What a pain.

"Sure, Dazai-san.." I agreed

"Yay! Oh how grateful I am Atsushi-kun~" Dazai replied.

I took the papers out of his hands and started working on them before my own.

God, why does HE have to be my 'mentor' of all people?! He's a literal suicidal child! I complained to myself. Dazai really gives me a headache at times..

~Time Skip to the end of the day ~
It was the end of the day and all atsushi wanted to do was go to his dads work and see his friends, and ryu of course.

Atsushu's POV
There was only 1 more hour until I could leave this building.

God I'm so tired of this place, nothing interesting even happened today. I thought to myself before sighing

"You alright, kid? You look tired" I looked up and saw Kunikida standing in front of my desk. Maybe I could try get him to let me leave early?

"Not really, my heads killing me and I didn't get much sleep last night.." I lied

"You can head on home now if you want, since your head hurts." Yes! It worked! Now i can go see dad and ryu~

"Thanks, kunikida-san" I replied before basically sprinting out the door, i was excited to finally leave, it felt like I was there for AGES! As soon as I get out if the building, I start walking to the PM headquarters, texting my dad on the way there. Once I arrived, I immediately went to his office.

"Hi dad!" I half yelled, I was really excited. I couldn't see him for a few days before due to a mission i was on.

"Hello, Atsushi. How are you?" Mori looks up from his desk and asks me.

"I'm great! Finally I'm out of the agency's building, it was horrible! I felt like I was there for years! And then there's Dazai, I swear he is a literal child!" I started ranting on how my day went as I sat on the side of the desk. "Kunikida let me go an hour early though! So I'm happy for that"

"That's great to hear, why don't you go give your boyfriend a visit? I'm sure he misses you, since you've been on a mission for a few days" dad asked. I completely forgot! I got lost while ranting about my boring day!

"Oh yes! I'll go see him now, I can't wait to see him again! :D" I jump off the desk and start running to akutagawas room. Once there, I don't bother knock, i ran in the room and embraced my boyfriend in a hug, "Hiiiii!!! I missed youuu~" I said, still clinging onto him.

"Hello Atsu, I missed you too" he replied, turning round and giving me a kiss on the cheek, "how was your mission?"

"Oh my god, it was SO boring! I just wanted to see you the while time I was there." I complained. I complain alot, so I'm happy ryu puts up with it. "And kunikida decided to make Dazai go on the mission with me, that suicidal maniac! He gives me a headache!"

"I'm sure he does, sweetie.." I've tried my best to get ryu to forget about Dazai, he was obsessed with wanting to gain his approval when we first started our relationship, I understand why and I helped him move away from it since it would be better for him.

~ Okay I'm lazy so time skip to when Atsushi is back home ~

After I got home, I just wanted to sleep. But kyoka was home and started asking me where I was since I was gone when she got here, so I lied and told her I went for a walk to clear my head, thankfully she believed it. She asked me if I wanted dinner so I told her I wasn't hungry and just wanted to go to bed. Later, I got changed and finally got into bed, I ended up messaging ryu for about an hour before I fell asleep.

Now I'll have to go through another boring day tomorrow until I can see ryu again. I wonder when I can stop pretending to actually be apart of the agency, hopefully soon. I said to myself before falling asleep.

Little did I know, tommorrow the agency would discover one of us was working for the PM. Great, now I'll get bombarded with questions like: Who do you think is the spy? So annoying..
