PSA: this is not a love story.

This book is all fictional and should not be re-written in anyway. The following contains sexual content, harsh language, abuse along with brief mentions of disorders, manipulation, heavy drug abuse, religion, domestic violence and many other triggers.

This story explores themes that may be uncomfortable for some readers along with this writing being very different from others I've wrote.

Synopsis: In the streets of Washington, D.C. , the gritty underbelly of urban life clashes with the resilience of the human spirit. "Forgive him father" is the story of a young Afro-Latino man from New York, now entangled in the dangerous world of trafficking. Lacking conscience and driven by the lure of quick money, Shaneim's life spirals deeper into darkness, leaving a trail of sin and sorrow.

At just 18, Najiera his fiancee and mother of his two children, endures Shaneim's abuse, trapped in an arrangement at the hands of her powerful father. Despite him being aware of the violence his daughter faces, Najiera's father turns a blind eye, prioritizing the financial benefits flowing into both him and Shaneim's pockets. Raised in a devout Christian family from the south, Najiera clings to her faith, praying for Shaneim's redemption amidst all of the chaos.

As Shaneim's actions grow more ruthless, involving murder and unrepentant sin, Najiera's hope begins to fade. When an unexpected tragedy strikes, it becomes painfully clear that for Shaneim, redemption may be too late. "Forgive him father" is the tale of love, betrayal, power, and the struggle of redemption in a world where conscience & survival comes at a price.
