Golfball's POV:

"HEY! QUIT IT! I UNDERSTAND THE MISTAKE NOW!" I yelled across the room.

"Shh, no need to yell, people outside can probably hear your hollering," a voice replied as they walked over to where I was.

The one I'm talking to is Tennis Ball, my best, and only friend. We've been friends for 6 years now, and ever since then, we've done pretty much everything together. Appearance-wise, he's about 2 times as large as I am(I'm short), armless like I am, and is quite literally a tennis ball with eyes, a mouth, and two legs.

"Y'know GB, you haven't left the factory in 3 days, and the progress you've made on the rocket is phenomenal, could we take a break for a while? I promise I'm not slacking off, but we have tons of free time to use before the next contest," Tennis Ball said.

He was right. I hadn't been outside the factory in a while, but only because this project was important to me. I'm working on a rocket that I decided to build to test my skills. I could've done it by myself, but Tennis Ball offered to help me work on it since he had "nothing to do".

"TB, do you not realize how important this could be for the next challenge?! We would have a HUGE advantage over the other teams, and you never know when Four could announce the next one!"

Tennis ball gave me that look that meant he wasn't going to deal with it this time.

"I'm trying to care for your health GB, but if that's what you want, I'll leave you alone. I'm going to go hang out with Basketball and 8-ball for a while, I'll come back later."

Not Basketball and 8-ball. Basketball and 8-ball are two of my many rivals. Basketball is always talking about and following 8-ball. 8-ball is trying to take my spot as leader of the team, and he's not doing a good job. Last challenge, we nearly lost and got put up for elimination because of his foolishness. I don't even know why TB still hangs out with them.

Tennis ball was about halfway up the large amounts of stairs leading to the factory floor when I called out,

"TB, wait up!"

*This is going to usually be a change in POV or setting, for future reference*

Tennis Ball's POV:

I knew that would work. Golf Ball is very passionate about the things she creates, as she wants to be the best all the time. She's incredibly smart, but occasionally needs someone to tell her it's time to take a break. I've been trying to help her make some friends, but anyone she meets either makes fun of her, ignores her, or she pushes them away. One of the only reasons I'm her friend is because I let her boss me around, but deep inside, she has good motives.

"TB! Were you trying to run a marathon or something?!" Golf ball had caught up to where I was at the top of the staircase, and she sat down next to me. She isn't very athletic, so it was kind of hard for her to run long distances without being exhausted.

"Well, I'm not going to make you deal with Basketball and 8-ball right now, oh, GB, Coiny's coming.

Coiny is a copper-colored coin who's on a different team called "The Losers". He used to talk to us more when still competing for Dream Island, but ever since BFDIA started, he hasn't talked to us much. Honestly surprised he isn't with Pin or admiring Loser right now.

"Hey guys!" Coiny said.

"What do you want Coiny?" GB replied, clearly getting annoyed already.

"Hey, no need to get defensive over alone time with your boyfriend,"  Coiny replied with a smirk.

"Coiny," Golf ball started. "We. are. not. DATING!"

Coiny ran away laughing as he usually does, he enjoys teasing us about our platonic relationship. Golf Ball takes his remarks personally, while I know he just wants to see us get into a romantic relationship since we are pretty close and it's obvious. I wouldn't mind being in a relationship with GB honestly, but she wants it to be platonic, and I haven't gotten the confidence to ask her about its status for a while.

"TB, can you agree with me that he's annoying?" GB turned and asked.

"Oh!- Yeah, he knows we're just platonic, I don't know why he still bothers us about it," I lied.

"Let's head back to the factory, it's too warm and bright out here," GB requested.

"Fiiine," I sighed.
