Police Station. Here We Come!

"SOMEONE HELP!!" you shouted, terrifed as miku is.

Your neighbours turn to look at Miku's mum, who is standing in one of the windows.

They all stop and stare at Miku's mum, shocked by the fact that she is a demon.

Your neighbours start yelling for help, some of them screaming at Miku's demon mum to leave you alone.

Miku is still crying, and is incredibly scared. She says, her voice filled with fear:

"Can we go back to your house? I don't want to be here... please."

"I'm not sure, my house is a bit far from here."

Miku looks very scared and confused. "What do we do then?" Miku asks.

You start to hear the sound of sirens in the distance. It sounds like the police are on their way. They have heard the sounds of multiple people screaming for help nearby.

You see multiple police cars speeding towards Miku's house. You notice multiple police officers exiting the cars, and they are coming over towards where you and Miku are standing.

Miku looks very scared and confused. "What do we do then?" Miku asks.

Miku nods and clings on to you. She looks incredibly scared and worried, and is still crying.

The police officers arrive outside the house and talk to the neighbours for a few minutes. After that, the police officer turn to you and Miku.

The police officer ask: "What exactly happened in that house...?"

"At 12 am, her mother turned into a demon and her mother... said that she wanted to eat her own daughter."

You see the police officer's face turn pale and shocked at the news that Miku's mother has become a demon.

The police officer turns to one of the other police officers who arrived with her, and they have a short conversation in whispered voice.

Once they are done whispering, the police officer turns back to you and Miku and says:

"Okay... we will take you two to the station so that you can both give statements of what has happened. There will be an investigation into this..."

You nodded slightly, still Miku is clinging on to you but your terrifed and shaking as she is, just your not crying

You both walk alongside the police officers and follow them to their police station.

Miku is still clinging onto you, and her whole body is shaking. She looks extremely scared, and appears to be even more terrified than you are.

You both follow the police officers as they lead you through the station, before you enter a large room together with Miku.

Before you have time to react, a lawyer and a police lieutenant have entered the room and closed the door behind them. The police lieutenant seems to be in charge, and speaks up:

You wait for the police lieutenant to speak up and say something, still terrifed on what Miku's mother said as Miku clings on to you.

"Now, can both you and Miku tell us what happened today?" The police lieutenant asks.

Miku clings onto you even tighter, and begins to shake in fear. She looks at the police lieutenant, with tears in her eyes and a voice that is full of fear, and says:

"I don't want to go back to my house... I'm afraid my demon mother will eat me... she wanted to kill me because I didn't want to make her happy."

You sighed "What she's trying to say is that one day she heard her mother saying she wanted to hurt her and eat her ever since Miku's father left them and Miku's mother at 12:00 am last night turned to a demon and tried to attack us."

The police lieutenant seems to take note of the information that you are giving. She then asks a question:

"So you are saying that you and Miku heard your demon mother say that she wanted to "eat" you? Why exactly was Miku's mother going to eat her own daughter?"

"Pretty sure she was obsessed with her own daughter or she's just possessed from a demon who wants to hurt their family."

"Was Miku's mother always like this?" The police lieutenant asks.

Miku clings even tighter to you, as if this is her safety net. She seems to be looking at you for reassurance and comfort.

""Well no, she was a sweet girl until Miku's father left them at 5:00 am at January 29 and never returned, After then Miku's mother was acting quite strange."

"Did Miku's mother ever talk about demons or the like? Anything supernatural, or anything that she was obsessed about?" The police lieutenant asks.

She pauses for a moment, thinking of how to proceed from here...

You notice Miku's eyes are fixated on you. She seems to be looking at you for comfort, as if you are the only thing that she feels like she can rely on in this traumatic situation.
