Chapter 1

"KARI, FXCK YOU!".

After that tornado, he thought that his friend had pulled some pranks again.

When he opened his eyes again, he could feel his anger rising like fire in the forest.

But, when he wanted to grab something and thow something away as his way of venting his anger, he grabbed a soft thing that he hasn't touched before and he could feel his anger flew away.

Looking at this soft square thing made him look at it more and couldn't help but squeeze the thing.

He couldn't stop his urge and hugged the thing that took his attention away, intoxicated. As if he saw his lover.

He rolled on the bed, happily.

But, suddenly, he saw a book floating above his head.

It seems to be a book used by humans. He stopped rolling around and boredly took the book to read.

The book is a novel titled, "Stars and the moon."

The book cover is just a normal moon and stars as background. It looks solemn if you don't know that it's a novel.

The start of the novel introduced the main character named Elmes, seems to the shou, and his life status. He's born in a normal family, he can get what he needs and sometimes wants but not to the point like rich that they can buy anything they want because of overloaded money and at the age of 19 years old, he started to work as a waiter.

Then, that's when he started his entanglement with his gongs. Yes, gongs. He have four spouses in the end of the novel; and he looks like an emperor choosing a plate at who he wanted to sleep with at night because one of the gong is married to him while the other three are just his concubine and the main gong seems to be okay with it because of… "love".

At first the gongs wanted the shou alone but they knew that the shou… love the four of them at the same time and they couldn't bear to see the shout crying in despair and blame  so it's obviously a harem novel.

And, one of the obstacle to their love triang… love adventure is the BIG BOSS– the big villain in the novel.

Born by the family full of money and power; addition to his good looks, intelligence, and talent, and as the bachelor at the top of the top; the big villain looks like the protagonist gong than the actual gongs and it seems the author love the villain more than the main characters because of detailed introduction when the villain was finally going to appear in the novel but if you're confused as to why he's the villain then you're right to doubt on why such flawless and unique person be the villain because as if the author finally woke up from his/her dream that such person shouldn't exist, he/she finally end the villain by bankruptcy and dying of car accident that Liago couldn't understand why did this happened.

Although Liago knows that it's just a novel but he knows that such things wouldn't happen in real life to humans. Human civilization have their own law and rules to follow and for the villain to suddenly get bankrupt and dying from car accident because he just slight the main characters' business is just full fantasy. The author already gave the villain the "perfect package" and the villain suddenly suffer like that? Although Liago is a mermaid who lived in the law of the jungle and just kill who was after his life, he's not blind to not see the loopholes.

Liago is a mermaid but he lived with humans for five years. Though, he lived in the slum area but at least his friend has TV that he could watch to and he couldn't go out since he's a mermaid–because of his appearance.

Hmmm… something must've happened to the villain…

After reading the book, he just threw it away without care. While thinking, humans will never be in peace. They always think of conflict to add to the chaos, I will never understand them.

*Bong!

But, the book was thrown back and it bump his head.

"Ah!" He unknowingly groan and caress his head while glaring at the book who hurt his head.

"It hurts. Ó⁠╭⁠╮⁠Ò." A soft voice came out. Almost made him jump. Liago's voice is cracking deep because he's living in the deep sea, unlike other mermaids, to hide and why did his voice changed suddenly?!

Moreover… his cave is not like this! It's so bright and… comfy– he's in the humans!

"Not again!" Grabbing his hair, he look around and discovered that this cave is really not his and it's someone else's!!

Suddenly, the book floating and flying towards him again and the book's cover was now different!

Ah, yes, this book! It seems the book is connected as to why he came here! Yes! It must be!

He grabbed the book again and at this time, he impatiently opened the book after reading the title.

The title is… "Restraint Lifted"?

What's Lifted?! What restraint?!

He just ignore the title in the end and read what was inside.

The book just said that the restraint was lifted and he can do anything in this world as long as he did not do anything bad but don't worry, the book can remind him anytime and if someone was trying to harm him, the book will also tell him who it was. It was telling Liago about what was good and bad and how Liago's old body was dead and got grind into meat paste by the tornado.

It was guiding Liago to how to interact with human since his body is now a human.

Liago who beat up the human who wanted to touch him when he first comes to the human civilization vaguely understand what was in the book and nodded like a student who said that he understood the teacher but actually not just to go home early.
