"Are you a fool?" the voice of Diablo came out coolly within a drawing room within the mages association, infront of him sat Celestine. The woman was calmly drinking a cup of tea as she heard the question.

The demon came to the base of the association and asked to see the woman, but luckly for him on of the men who accompanied her to meet Rem, saw him and allowed him to enter with very little trouble and since Celestine was still present he met her quite easily. She kept her smile as she set the cup down and looked to him. "I'm guessing she told you?" she asked.

"Yes, now please explain to me did you allow her to become an adventure despite the danger? Do you have some kind of reason or are you just incompetent?" he asked her eyes narrowed.

"I just didn't want to hold her against her free will." said Celestine calmly and Diablo growled. "

So you are incompetent." he said calmly while taking a sip from his own cup.

"Maybe, it's just that I know how it feels. As someone who's bound by the magic association myself I just didn't want that for Rem." she explained. Diablo sighed.

"Your both Idiots, keeping her here where it is safe while researching ways to remove the seal or even kill the demon would have been far better than just letting her roam around and getting into trouble. Her death would have meant the destruction of the world, If not that keeping her here against her own free will would have been a far better of option than such a foolish action." said Diablo sharply.

"I suppose so." said Celestine not refuting the statement.

"However I suppose you decision might have the correct one considering my appearance,." he said while looking over his cup.

"You mean you will assist her?" asked Celestine.

"Correct, I will remove the creature from her and end it's existence." said the silver haired demon.

"What?" asked the woman in shock.

"I will defeat the demon so do not fret however I do desire information on the demon-lord anything you can provide will be appreciated. I will also desire a more stable residence, I will need to sock up on materials I'll use, and wasting money on loggings will not be ideal. I will have a few more requests later on. in exchange for that I will ensure the demon-lords defeat and grant this city my protection from the fallen." he said to the woman. who looked surprised at his words. "Will you grant me this as compensation?" he asked her, well more like demanded of her.

"You speak as if you can defeat the demon-lord." said Celestine.

"Of course I can, I've defeated many pretenders what is another. All who claim to be demon-lords must prepare to face the one true demon-lord! That is I. Diablo, the demon lord from another world. So have no fear as long as you comply with me I will ensure this country and this worlds continued prosperity." he said.

Celes was sceptical but she didn't say anything to oppose him. " Why would a demon-lord save the mortal races?" asked the woman.

"Simple, I am the only one who gets to decide when the world shall end, plus for now I am still enjoying the mortals. they amuse me and so I've grown fond of them. As such a time comes when I get bored. only then will I decide to pass judgement of whether they live or not." He explained while refusing to meet the smiling eyes of the woman.

"I see, very well I will co-operate." said Celestine.

"Good now I'll be off." he said as he stood and made his wat out, "Keep serving me Celestine and all shall be well. That is a promise." he said as he walked out.

" Huh who knew a demon-lord could have a heart." muttered a smiling Celestine. "How interesting." she said.
