Georgia went into their bedroom at her sons home. Richard was looking out the window. "Richie" Georgia said. "Would you like to see your grandchildren" Georgia asked. Richard noticed Georgias hand in his with a loving embrace.

Richard followed behind Georgia as she escorted him into dining room. Once there Rowan saw what his mother was doing. Past months Georgia has been updating her son on his father's condition. Each update Rowan felt his own parents were suffering by the bit. So he discussed the matter with Alders and decided to bring his parents back to London.

Alders was exacting as usual when Georgia came to visit. But this was a different matter. Rich's was coming back to his mother land. Rowan and his mother both agreed that this would be the best option. Rowan inherited his grandparents home. The same home that Richard grew up in.

"Where are my parents this is their home they should be here" Richard asked. "Richie, Howard and Mabel passed away years ago...you're son lives here" Georgia said. Richard only nodded slightly as he noticed unchanged things.

Rowan went over to the other side of the dining room where his parents were. "Where did you and Alders find a place that would give you two babies" Richard asked. "Crystal pine's orphanage" Rowan said. Richard didn't say anything else, no quick remarks. "This is Victor he's a newborn" Rowan said. Richards eyes laid on the sleeping baby.

"He definitely looks like a Victor" Richard said. Richard smiled at the little boy in the blanket. "He's perfect" Richard said. "Thank you dad" Rowan said. Richard turned around to see Caroline playing with toys in the living room. Caroline mumbled as she played with her toys. Looking up she saw Georgia. A happy smile grew across the one year olds face.

Alders picked up Caroline she was shy at first hiding her head in Alders chest. "Hey hey it's ok Carol you're not going anywhere you're home is here" Alders asked. Rubbing her back softly, Caroline looked at her dad. "It's ok Carol" Alders said. Kissing the one year olds forehead.

"Would you like to meet your granddaughter" Rowan asked. Richard watched as Alders brought Caroline into the dining room. Alders whispered something in the little girls ear causing her to smile.

Alders set Caroline on Richards lap, he was able to hold her. Caroline looked up at him Richard smiled back at her. The little girl saw warmth in her grandfathers eyes. Caroline was a little light that lit up every room she was in.

"Tishie" Caroline said. Causing the room to burst out into laughter. "Where did she get Tishie from Richard" Richard asked. "I don't know but I do know this she's a grandmas girl for sure" Georgia said.

Jojo and Tishie

Alders heard a knock on the door. On the other side was a man he didn't know. In his hand there was a knife. With his name carved in the metal of the blade. "Alders Kelly" He said. Stabbing him in the lower stomach. "Don't ever come back to the Lennon residence fags like you rot in hell" he said. Walking off the front porch Alders fell to his knees. Watching the car drive off. He recognized the car it was his brothers. The driver was nowhere near Anders description.

Looking down at his shirt scarlet red was seen. Alders took his right hand he touched the wound and saw red. He was calm, calm was the word he used to describe being stabbed. Entering the house he had concerned eyes on him. "I'm going to take a nap now" Alders said. Dropping to the floor completely.

Outside on the porch drops of blood were seen trailing in as Alders entered the home.

Rowan picked him up from the floor. Placing his lover in the car he immediately drove off to the hospital. Alders eyes would drift open and closed. "Keep them open Aldi" Rowan said. "It hurts" Alders said. Alders hands were still on the wound as Rowan pulled into the hospital driveway.

"How are you so calm about getting stabbed" Rowan asked. "High pain tolerance I guess" Alders said.

A nurse sat at the front desk saw the American author enter. "My friend here has been shot please he is losing so much blood" Rowan said.

A wheelchair was brought around for Alders as he was taken back to surgery. Rowan took a seat in the waiting room. In his pocket we're a pack of cigarettes. In times like these he needed them most. So he lit one up. Feeling the heat of the cigarette fill him up as he waited.

An hour went by before Georgia and Caroline were at the hospital. She saw her son smoking a cigarette. "Don't repeat any words Grandma Jojo says" Georgia said. A white nurse saw Georgia walk over to her son.

"What did I say about you smoking these cigarettes don't make me cause a scene" Georgia said. "Why is my daughter here and where is dad you left him alone" Rowan said. Georgia took his cigarette she put it in a nearby trash bin.

"It's one in the morning ma, why are you dragging my daughter with you" Rowan said. "Don't go southern on me now...Caroline couldn't stop crying about her father and she wanted to see him" Georgia said.

"I'm sure she wasn't the only one crying" Rowan said.

Georgia slapped her sons thigh hard. "Be serious..." Georgia said. "Ow" Caroline said. Rowan rubbed his thigh, he never was a fan of his mothers hits. Even in her years of retirement she still knew how to hit. The only fan of her firm hits was Richard. I'll let you imagine why.

"Mr. Kelly" a male voice called. Rowan stood up his tired eyes followed the voice. "I'm Mr. Kelly" Rowan said. The doctor smiled towards him. "Right this way" He said. Georgia and Rowan followed the man to Alders room.

The doctor stopped in front of the room Alders was in. Rowan was the first to enter. His eyes were on the sleeping boy. Closing the door behind him he saw Alders eyes open.

Alders eyes met Rowan's the Brit's eyes watered he reached a hand out. Rowan immediately took his hand in his. "I realized why I was so calm when I was stabbed" Alders asked. Rowan pulled up a chair to sit next to his hospital bed. "I was fond of knives when I was in Saint Evelyn's, I kept a blade under my socks in my drawer and I used it to cut myself to feel something when I ate a meal that stayed" Alders said. "Have you been cutting recently" Rowan asked. Alders shook his head no, but he was lying.

"In my pant's pocket is a blade that I use when I'm stressed and I found myself using it more after the last visit with Lady Lennon" Alders said. Rowan saw Alders arms little lines covered his delicate skin.

"When I felt the knife enter my lower stomach I didn't know how to react so I remained calm until a good feeling rushed through to a cold feeling that I remembered from cutting my arms" Alders said.

"Do you remember anything about that incident it's ok if you can't" Rowan said. "I saw my mothers car, but she wasn't driving it...someone else was a negro was the one who stabbed me and in the car next to him was a man who was very muscular but also very huggable" Alders said.

"I also heard the name Ezra faintly from the car" Alders said. Rowan kept that name in his mind. Ezra, could it have been Leon Ezra or another.

"Georgia and Carol are outside the door waiting to see you," Rowan said. The American opened the door to let his mother and daughter in. Caroline's face lit up with a smile.

"Hi Carol," Alders said. Georgia set Caroline on the hospital bed with Alders. Caroline's hand was on Alder's stab wound pressing into it causing him some pain. "Careful Carol..papa Aldi is experiencing some pain right now," Rowan said. Taking her off the hospital bed and holding her in his lap.

Alders and Rowan stayed up most of the night, the American had to be sure Alders was still with him. "Close your eyes Rowie I'll be fine" Alders groaned. Rowan squeezed Alder's hand tiredly. "I don't want to shut out your handsome face," Rowan said. "The poetic justice isn't working," Alders said. Alders sighed, pecking a kiss on Alder's hand. "Would you like me to spill some poetry?" Rowan asked. Alders yawned as his eyes began to close, taking a final look at his love he nodded.

Rowan's thumb gently caressed Alder's forehead. "Remember your birthday...how we drank and dined half of the night with our old friend. Who'd showed us in the end to a bed I reached in one drunk stride. Already you my sweet lay snug. And drowsy with the wine dozed on one side. You dozed you slept. Your sleep broke on a hug, suddenly, from behind. In which the full lengths of our bodies are pressed. Your shoulder blades against my chest. As I hold you all night as we dream a little dream"

Alders chest was evenly moving up and down as Rowan sat next to him. He'd squeeze his hand every moment to remind him that he's still here.
