Chapter 1: First Day

FIRST PERSON POV

Ok..., first day back to school...and in year 12

how did I survive this?!, I can't wait to see my friends!

THIRD PERSON POV

Y/N gets ready to go to her first day of school as a year 12 student, she is in the house Gryffindor (you can also choose the house your actually are in), she is struggling to tie her tie, she is frustrated, scared but mostly excited to start a new year,

Y/N yells out a scream out of frustration, her mother goes running towards her.

"Y/N, what's wrong sweetie?" her mother asks concerned while wiping away her wet hands from doing the dishes.

"I can't get this stupid tie on!" Y/N exclaims, tear in her eyes from all the stress she's in.

Her mother chuckles, she always knew her daughter always cries whenever she feels a strong emotion, she goes towards her daughter and shows how to tie it.

"See? it's easy, and calm down baby..., your gonna suffer a panic attack if you don't relax, it's only your first day, take it easy love" her mother comforts her while hugging her.

"Thanks mom.. I think I'm ready..."

2 hours later

Laura is suited in her dorm, feeling comfortable she goes towards Hermione, hugging her , ever so happy to see her best friend after 2 months

"Y/N!! Long time no see, how are you doing? How was your summer? Also I heard we take class with Lupin! Aren't you so excited?" Hermione asks and rants towards Y/N.

"Woah girl, give me five minutes to actually answer all your questions" Y/N laughs, "First, im doing very well just a bit nervous, second, my summer was great, third, who's Professor Lupin??" Y/N ask confused.

Hermione was surprised that Y/N didn't know who he was.

"hello??, the DADA teacher!! the really famous one, the one who can turn into a werewolf!" Hermione exclaims, surprised Y/N never heard anything about him.

She stayed the same, still not knowing who he was at all.

Both girls get ready to go to their first class, Hermione grab Harry and Ron to the class, Y/N just followed, laughing at their laziness.

Their first class was Muggle studies, their not so favorite.

"This is boring.. without a doubt, also Hermione? Y/N whispers towards her.

Hermione is a seat beside her, so she puts her hair behind her ear and gets closer to Y/N to be able to hear her well.

"What's up?"

Y/N for some reason was curious about the DADA teacher, she never heard anything about hi, yet she wanted to know how he looks like, and how he is a as person, and if he is cool or blankly just boring.

"About this DADA teacher, do you any more information about him? I'm kind of curious about him"

Hermione smiles and writes on her note book all the stuff she knows about him or she heard about him.

"So I don't know where to start, but he has various scars on his face, which makes him low key kinda hot and cute, he is also very tall, I think he is around 6'2 or 6'3, he has a cute mustache, he is obviously a professor, I've heard he is really funny, thoughtful, likes to tease and a lot more shit. You''ll like him trust me!" Y/N reads Hermione notebook, smiling, for some reason she felt fond over the latter without even meeting him in person.

Class ended and both girls go walking to their DADA class, Y/N more nervous than Hermione for some reason, they go inside and Laura sits down in the front because she wears glasses and it was an accommodation the school granted her, she set out her book and wand and sat patiently waiting for the teacher like everyone else.

A few moments later, someone with silky light brown hair, tall and with a wand comes out of their office and towards the front of their class.

"Good Morning! I am your DADA professor for this year, my name is Remus Lupin" he introduces himself while playfully bowing.

"I heard there are some students who don't know me, so let's please all stand up and introduce ourselves with our name, something you like and your house!" he says while leaning on his table, not noticing how Y/N was staring at him, better yet his soul.

Y/N couldn't understand this feeling she was feeling for her teacher, but in general, she didn't enjoy it, and just decided to stuff it down to where it came from.

After all the students introduced themselves, it was Y/N turn, she seemed quite nervous, and couldn't speak well, making her blush. Remus took this to his knowledge and went towards her slowly.

"Here take this, it'll make you feel better", he hands to Y/N.

It was a piece of a simple chocolate, Y/N was a bit confused, but ate it anyway without any type of hesitation, and she actually did felt better.

"Hi.. I'm Y/n L/N, I like to read and study and I'm in Gryffindor (or your house of choice" she introduce herself after eating the chocolate.

Remus smiled and went back to the front.

"Can someone tell me what's this class for?" Remus ask to his students.

Everyone stayed silent, no one actually know it's purpose, Remus waited patiently, seeing that no one would answer voluntarily, he decided to call out someone.

"Y/N, what's your answer?" he ask warmly.

"Well the purpose of it is for us to know how to defend ourselves in general" she answers calmly.

Remus nodded, glad that she said the answer and went towards her seat.

"Defend yourself from...what?"

Y/N thinks for a moment, forming her answer.

"well to defend yourself against all aspects of the Dark Arts, including dark creatures, curses, hexes and jinxes (dark charms), and dueling." she answers confidently.

Remus smiled, he knew that Y/N was gonna be a crucial part in his class and was excited to see what else she had in her.

"That is very much correct, 5 points to Gryffindor (or your house)!" Remus explained.

Everyone form Y/N house cheered on her knowledge and making them earn 5 points.
