"wow... uh.... That was weird." Andy turned over to his sister with furrowed brows, both confused and slightly irritated with the newest addition to the group. "Why do we even need another girls doll here anyways?!" He pouted , turning and glaring up at the doll up on the roof of the building once more.
"Oh Andrew... He's probably just trying to get used to here, he's probably homesick. Like Babette was.." Ann, his sister, attempted to calm her brother down, before walking to the front of the plastic brick castle, waving up at Red, smiling in a sweet way while trying to grab his attention.
"what." Red didn't look over , speaking in a sharp tone that made him seem dangerous. After a moment of silence however, when he did look over, he somehow looked even scarier. Poor Ann was frozen in fear! Red kept his irritated face, before wrapping his cape back around his body and turned away, despite the attempts at socialization from Ann. "Wait wait, don't you want to say hello? Everybody at the nursery wants to meet you!" She said with a pleading tone, the rest of the toys looking away or seeming anxious, well, other than Andy, who was standing beside his sister protectively now. He didn't say anything, just glaring up at Red.
"Don't bother Ann, I think he's kind of a pill." Andy said, glaring at Red still, who returned the glare, despite Ann trying to calm everybody and get Red to socialize. "But Andy-" Ann protested ,before stepping closer to where Red was perched. "-he seems lonely!"
"if he doesn't want to socialize, don't push him! He's just acting cool, he's probably not even that special"
"don't say that!-"
while Andy would try and convince his sister to just leave the new toy alone, Ann kept protesting until Andy gave up, and then climbed up next to Red.
"hello! What's your name? You look really pretty!" Ann practically had stars in her eyes as she stared at Red, who was still wrapped inside his cape with a side glance.
"......Red. That is what I've been called. So my name is surely Red." He muttered, his eyes squinting at the rag doll beside him as she asked an array of questions.
"My names Ann, and I think you've met my brother Andy?" Ann asked as she motioned towards her brother, who was climbing up the side of the castle to get beside his sister
"....oh. Him." Red groaned, rolling his deep red eyes before nodding, glancing at Andy with a look of irritation. "I assume so, unless another mess of a doll is here." Ann began to smile nervously and explain about her brother, as she tried to prevent anything that could possibly happen "I'm sorry he was so rude earlier! He's not usually this mean-" Ann was promptly cut off as Andy striked up
"I wasn't mean! I was bein' honest!" As Andy spoke, Red's eyebrows scrunched as he stared down at Andy with a look of pure annoyance, as if he was interrupting a one-on-one moment.
"you should be wary of what you say, doll."
