SIENNA POV
"Why would you say that, Sol?" A sighed in disappointment and took a left turn. "Seriously, I am so sorry. I didn't mean to." She replied.
"You know I just -" she quickly cut herself off looking, Infront of her. "Let's just talk later, I've gotta go. I promise I'll make it up to you." Sol smiled and I just sighed once again. "Kay...bye." I said as the call ended.
I removed my airpods and checked my location. "Finally." I got out of my car and entered through the open gate, closing it behind me. I ringed the doorbell and a moment later, my cousin opened the door.
"Unnie I-Hi! She's so cute! Can I keep you sweetie?" I greeted but got distracted after seeing a little girl in my cousin's arms. I took the little girl and held her myself.
"Goodness, you're so pretty!" I exclaimed and she smiled shyly at me. I felt my heart skip a beat, as though she was looking right through my very soul with her big doe eyes.
I welcomed myself in my cousin's home and was surprised to find a surprise party, for me...
After a few greetings here and there, we began eating. It's been 30 minutes since my arrival and I couldn't seem to let go of this kid who happens to be named Lili.
"Sienna, let go of the poor child." Jisoo unnie joked and I couldn't help but frown. I looked at Lili who was on my lap. "Look at her, unnie. She doesn't want to let go, so why should I?" I bragged, pinching Lili's cheeks.
"Lisa, tell her to let Lili breathe." Jisoo unnie laughed and looked towards her friend, Lisa, before leaving to go to grab food in the kitchen, following their friends, Jennie and Chaeyoung, bringing Lili with her.
Lisa just smiled and looked at me as we were left alone together. "It's fine." She said reassuringly.
There she is again. She's looking at me with the same doe eyes like Lili, as if she's staring into my soul, as if she knows me.
I couldn't help but also get caught in the net of emotions, seemingly only her and I know of. Looking at her feels so entrancing, as if I'm looking at someone I know and who knows me all too well...
I tried to bite my tongue but the words seemed to slip out of my mouth...
"Have we met before?"
