Chapter 13 On the way home from school on a rainy day (Part 2)
"Is this okay? Taocheng." After the game was suspended, several senior members gathered around, "Aren't you going to be eaten to death by a first-year guy like this?"
I scratched my head and said irresponsibly: "Maybe." Strangely enough, I didn't have any fighting spirit at all. In the past, even if I competed with the minister, I would not be willing to admit defeat.
"If you recover from the sprained right foot, you should be the winner." Those members were still fighting for me.
Being the main candidate but being overtaken by the new students makes these members who are usually beaten to death by the main selection feel very helpless, right?
"That kid actually used his other hand to fight with the senior. It's so scary! It's so scary~" I muttered to myself and turned to look out the window. The rain had lightened up a bit.
I came out of the fast food restaurant, held up my umbrella, and rode on my way home.
Not long after, the figure in front of the roadside coffee shop made me stop. It was that boy.
It was completely different from the daytime. The expression on his face behind the rain curtain was completely inconsistent with his age. That kind of emptiness and loneliness seems to pull people's hearts tightly. Such an expression is only suitable to appear on the face of an old man who has gone through vicissitudes of life, and should never appear on the face of a twelve-year-old boy. From a distance, I just stared at him blankly.
After a long while, he looked up at the sky and walked out of the eaves. Although there was still drizzle in the sky, he was walking slowly, as if he were an old man taking a walk after cooking. The light, bouncing steps of playing tennis during the day seemed unreal.
He rode up to him naturally and handed him the umbrella. Only then did he notice me, and his cat eyes were slightly surprised.
"It won't be good if your lovely freshman is exposed to the rain and catches a cold. Get in the car and I'll take you, but you have to hold an umbrella for me." I said a lot.
He didn't move, but his eyes moved to my right foot. My heart moved and I laughed sincerely: "Oh my, you still know."
He moved his eyes to the side, still in that cold tone: "Even if your right foot is not injured, I can still defeat you. "
Surprisingly, I didn't feel angry at all. The shitty expression on his face now was much more vivid than the lonely expression before.
"If I don't get in the car, I'm going to get wet." I said with a smile.
"...How to get in the car?" he said. well? Has he never been on someone else's bicycle? If you look closely at him, his hat seems to be lowered. There are still cute places.
Teach him how to stand on the back seat and ride on the car. I don't feel like I'm bringing an extra person with me at all. The scenery on both sides moved back quickly, and the air in the light rain was particularly fresh.
After a while, his hand on my shoulder tightened. "This is it," he said.
After getting out of the car, he handed over the umbrella.
"I can take you to your door." I said. No matter how you look at this bridge, it is quite some distance from the nearby residential area.
"No need." He took off his hat and nodded to me. "Thank you for today, senior." His expression was very upright, and the arrogant feeling during the day had completely disappeared. Now, anyone who meets him will think that he is a good boy with good conduct. Which one is his true face?
